This phone message said we were a point of contact for someone we don't know.  When I tried to call them back to say we don't know the person they were very brisk and said ok and hung up.  Hope they take us off as we don't appreciate getting phone calls for someone else.

Got a phone call from 877-858-7576 saying that I got a lawsuit and they want to talk to my lawyer re a bounce check that I issued , but the bank that they said is not even my bank for several years ago and before I close that bank of mine I do not have any outstanding/bounce checks pending.

I kept getting calls from these clowns, threatening litigation against someone named Betsy.
No Betsy at my house.
I called them back, they said they'd take my number off of the list.
This smells like a phishing scam.
I would not give or confirm any information with lowlife like these people for any reason.
I am pretty sure we are talking about the scum of the earth.
No name, other than IPN, only an anonymous phone number and a voice on the other end of the line.
Hopefully these losers will be in prison soon.

Caller ID on phone was WEBGISTIX CORP tele# 7163760434 and left a message about a bad check I had written from a bank I have never done business with.  The number left to call before 6pm or they're going to file suit was 1-877-858-7576.

Good thing I pay all my bills online.

IPM & Associates 877-858-7576 or cell phone number 716-213-0391 is a scam.  Received 2 calls in two days for my son who does not live with us.  On 11/29/10 the unknown cell phone caller called asking for Jr.  and talking like he personally knew him drilling me for information like what is Jr. up to these days. Also saying he had not heard from him in awhile. Of course, I knew not to give out any inf and took a message.  Today 11/30 the unknown caller at 716-213-0391 said that it was imperative that he speak to Jr. because he wrote bad checks and there was an investigation going on in behalf of Sun Trust Bank.  Upon speaking to my son he does not even have a Sun Trust account!

BEWARE - be on guard for both of these numbers because they are really slick and will scare the heck out of you about litigation if you do not pay up.  Of course, they demand a debit card number or a check by phone to settle a so called bad debit (that you or your relative know nothing about). Note this caller on the second call had my sons, date of birth, social security number, address and this employment information.  Scary isn't it?  Prey on old folks hoping they will bail out one of their kids.

Someone just called me from this number looking for my brother saying that he was being served for writing bad checks.  thought it was strange that they would give me all that information so I had a feeling it was a debt collection agency.  Not sure what it is yet, but my guess is debt collector.

877-858-7576 is calling my parents for me now...why would I give my parents phone number if i wasn't going to pay back a debt!! I hope they all end up without a job and have debt collectors calling them. Call me all you want cause your NOT getting any of my money! Or come and get me like you say you will, quit threating just DO IT!!

They got me! Left a message that I wrote a bad check and I freaked! I don't wirte checks, so when I  called, it had nothing to do with a bad check!.

They are calling people I know as well.  Don't know who they are but I am about to call them and find out.  They did call my work so I am wondering if its some kind of scam or someone from a check cashing company.  Haven't dealt with them in years so I am not sure.  Will post what I find out.
They called me from 615-622-2356 which is in Nashville, IPM.  Its appears they are a collection office working at an attorneys office.

Funny thing is...I haven't received a call from these doofs yet...INSTEAD, they are calling all of these people I know and telling them lies about me! I don't even know who these jerks are! I am going to talk to the FTC and give them what info I have so far, but I need more...so if anyone has anything they can offer I would be MUCH appreciative!

This company is using illegal tactics to try and get information.  Be aware!

just got a call from "Independent Portfolio Management" for my long ago ex-wife
said they had "pending litigation in your county"
It happened about a year ago from a different number.  I called back, asked them not to call anymore. They "said" they'd take me off their list.  We'll see...
