Is it really Sprint? If so this is really annyoing the frak out of me!!

Why ring and hang up, what's the point?  I do have sprint cell, never got these calls on my AT&T service, how do i get rid of these annoying calls?  Is it possible to block numbers on a cell phone?

yes this is Sprint calling .they have been overcharging me for so long ,i have unlimited incoming and unlimited texting,how can my bill be nearly $200.00,when i get a mailed bill it says i owe only $48.00 WTF,and then they turn it off every other week .I'm about to cancel my ish with sprint ,it is stressful when you gotta choose between food or phone,they scamming my @$$,im about to get a damn Cricket phone or something,AHHHHH!im tired of this ISH!MUTHAf**##@s

they called me too...it pissed me off so bad...i jus dont answer....because i aint dealing wit wierd numbers...and if they call im gonna chew em out

they just called me saying that i have 100 dollars in overages... how is that possible when i just paid my monthly bill of 67.03?? wow they need to stop calling im tired of it!!!

I just got one, Googled the number, and am now posting. I am nowhere near the overage.

this number keeps calling me. i have a phone plan with a friend and it is under my friends name, but they keep calling me? you think they would have his number and his name seeing as how its his account, im just on it. is it serious???

its sprint+nextel but its BS... telling me i have account overages when i already paid my bill.

I've gotten 3 calls in the last 2 days, from this 5487 number. And every time I answer, there's nobody on the other end. It's getting ridiculous. If it's Sprint, they've messed up with me one too many times, now. If it's a scam, something needs to be done. Either way, I'm really sick of these phantom calls, and I agree with lou...I think it's time to change over to AT&T.

I received two calls today. One in class which left a blank 5 second message, one just 5 minutes ago but I didn't answer with the same blank message. I think we can all agree it isn't a legitimate company so don't blame sprint. Just don't answer.

I always mark the numbers that are trouble with a "Dont Ans" for the name and save it to my contacts so when they call, I know that I shouldn't answer. You get charged for those minutes as well if you didn't know.

yes, when i tried to call back to see what it was it was a recording saying it was sprint but then i hit 1 to talk to a representative and no one was there... hmm i don't think it's real.

Ok so this number calls my cell ALOT... I looked the number up on here to see what it was, just like everyone else. I thought well i will call it back and see what happens. Well a recording came on and told me it was sprint calling about my account being over and press 1 to review account. I hung up and called sprint directly and asked them. My account was not over! The operator on the phone called the number and spoke with someone supposedly from a call center just like her self she said. She said this is a really number from sprint. But, they said something in there system had not changed from when we changed our plan from last month and so it seemed as if we were over our plan and thats why the number called me. This dose not however explain why right now in our current plan we are not over and wouldnt have been over in our old plan either. I think the sprint operator just got scamed her self. They made a note on my account of the number just in case it was some kind of a scam. Also, im not the account holder am just a added number. But, since i created a account with sprint online first to check my bill, i have some how become the person they would contact about overages she said. Not sure what to believe...but this is crazy! I hope this info can help someone else.

Yeah. This number has called me twice. I know for a fact that I don't have any overages, if that is what this is about. I've had my phone for less than 2 months, gosh! If they call again, it's all over, I'm going to chew them out. I haven't sent any email, I have 450 minutes, which I KNOW I haven't gone over, and unlimited text. Hmm?

By the way, sprint customer, mine left a blank message, too.

It is sprint however it IS NOT about being past due on your account, it's Sprint trying to get you to up your plan because you went over the minutes on your plan.

I have received several calls from this number, but I have nevered answered and they never leave a message. Guess it is good that I didn't answer.

I am on the phone as I am typing this.  I not a sprint line.  I spoke with them for 20 min This is a spam number not from sprint.

I Googled the number 877 274 5890 because I keep getting calls from them, the weird part is that I've never had Sprint or Nextel, I've been with ATT since they were Cingular - everyone in my family also has ATT so we can talk to each other without using minutes - so I just ignore the calls (must be a scam)

Called me too, I don't even have sprint.
