My call was at 3:30 am from a blocked #. Recording saying it was Bank of America and my cc had been compromised, hold on to resolve. Wow... new low.. Get people while their sleeping. I hope people aren't really falling for this:(

I received this call at 1p yesterday, automated message saying the same message but claiming they were Bank of America. Pathetic really.

They're scammers and will not follow the Do Not Call registry.

Just called hubby's mobile... It's 10:55 PM!!
He didn't answer but vm said something about a security company - difficult to understand. When called back, line was busy.

I just got a call from this number saying my Bank of America debit card was compromised and to press 1 to re-active. I don't have a debit card with that bank but pressed 1 to find out who they were. It just hung up and when I try to call back it goes to a busy signal. I guess I will file a complaint with Bank of America.

My cell phone rang, but before I could answer it - it went in to voice mail.  The message was "push 1 to go to our security department.'   It was an automated call and they didn't refer to any business or bank so I don't know on whose behalf they were supposed to be calling, but I'm glad to read the comments of others ... obviously it isn't legitimate.   Good to know.   I don't debit and I know MY bank wouldn't leave an automated call for something of such importantance if it was the real deal.
We all just have to beware!

I received a call on my cell phone at 1:13 a.m. 7-26-11 Central Standard Time. It woke me up (which is a big deal because it is difficult for me to get to sleep and when woken I do not go back to sleep) and I hit "end" after one ring, possibly disabling their ability to leave voice mail. No message. Tried calling it this morning to ask a company to remove me from their list, but it is busy. Now I know why. Wonder if there is a way to block it in my Blackberry??? Glad for this site to let me know it is a scam and that I should block it. Thank you!

I thought it was illegal for telemarketers to call before 8 am and after 9 pm. I received a call from this number at 11:14 pm last night. No message was left. I'm NOT happy that I am on the "Do Not Call Registry" and still continuously receive calls from telemarketers. But this one calling in the middle of the night is completely unacceptable.

I got a call at 1:06 AM On a Monday night.

got a call saying they were from Bank of America and that due to fraud my debit card had been deactiviated.  Said to press "1" to re-activate.  I pressed 1 so that I could tell them to take my number off of their list and that I don't even have a BOA card, but it hung up.  Grrr.  Hate scams.

Just got a call on my cell telling me my Bank of America credit card had been locked and to touch a number and be transferred to their fraud department....since I don't have a credit card from them guess I'm okay... SCAM ALERT!!!

Now the scammers are using Bank of America 877-867-7903 telling you, your card has been cancled and to enter your account number...Stupid if you do that...

Called Bank of America on 6 different phone number that they have posted...all disconected me but one because I don't have a Bank of America account.  The 6th one (Load department) said would transfur the call...Lost it to dial tone)

Received  automated voice mail on my cell phone at 10:30 pm saying they were BOA and my debit card has been locked. Please press 1 to be transferred to their security department. A couple hours later at midnight my husband received the same call on his cell phone. We don't bank with BOA.   I did not press one and it disconnected.

SCAM ALERT!!  Got a call from this number @ 1:47 AM on my cell phone. Automated voice says my Bank Of America debit card has been lost & I need to respond by entering my account & pin#'s.......you got to be kidding me, I don't have a BofA account or debit card!!

They called my cell phone number at 1:00am on a Monday! Didn't answer. Thanks to everyone for the heads up.

Called my cell phone at 10:50pm. Automated message saying my Bank of America debit card was compromised, press 1 to be transferred to a representative. I have never banked with BoA.

They called me this morning (Sunday) at 5:45 on my cell phone.
Same fake BoA scam. I filed an online complaint with the FCC.

I also received a phone call shorty after mid night from the same number saying that my B of A debit card was compromised.  I don't even have an account with them.

Myself, I just put the phone down and walked away,
four hours later it was still asking me to enter my card #...

No bank you last three minutes,
they would automatically hang up !

I hung up after 17 hours,
because I needed a pizza,
but I hope it slowed them down a bit,
and cost them some line charges too.

Same number called me at 1130pm. Didn't answer. They left a voicemail saying my debit card was cancelled. I deleted it. I work for a bank, and we never call a customer requesting that kind of information. Scam.
