This number also shows up on "Award Notifications" sent out with US Airlines across the top.  Saying "enclosed is your Travel Check Voucher for $1,399.00.  We have attempted contacting you on several occasions.  This will be your last chance to respond."   Funny, because last month I received the same voucher and it stated that was my last chance to respond!!

I'm constantly called by people claiming to be VS/MC and got a call from someone claiming to be a statement manager with vs/mc.  All lies, lies, lies. First of all Banks and financial institutions issue cards with MC/VS logo's but have no connection to VS/MC.  These type of tactics are sickening and we as business owners must call our merchant provider's to report such SCAMS.  Do not let anyone convince you to fax or email your statement to these people @ 866-644-5571 they are the SCAM.
It is so unfortunate that these people prey on small/medium size business owner's daily and actually
get paid by some poor fool to do so.  I hope the owner of Universal Outsourcing sleeps well at night knowing very well that their  SUCKY LIES  will eventually  get them SHUT DOWN.

This Crazy woman named Gloria keeps calling me lying about who she works for and what they want with my merchant statement.  She is so Ghetto that when I question her she becomes irate with me and tells me that if I'm ok with being overcharged then so is she then hangs up in my face.  She then
forgets that I have already been called by her and calls back again with the same lying tactics that no
business owner should have to listen to. Gloria probably isn't even her name.  She will tell you that her supervisor needs to speak to me cause their's so much scams out there and I need to be careful, when the whole time she is the little scammer we need to look out for.  She has probably changed her name several times.  Just beware of her.  Do not send her your statement and call your own merchant and report her. Call your Attorney General and complain so we can shut this place down or at least make stop calling your business.

These people are worse than panhandlers on the street and are telling business owners that they are working for Visa/Mastercard when they actually are a call center in addison texas calling nationwide lying to businesses about who they are and what they are doing. Their is loud laughter in the background and these people need to be shut down. I reccomend thay people call the parent company which is pivotalpayments.com from montreal canada.  They have no idea what these call center poeple are saying to get our statements.  Their has to be a law somewhere against them calling and misrepresenting themselves as a legitimate company.  Get as much information as you can and take a moment to call Pivotal Payment Systems in Canada to shut them down for good.  We as business owners should not have to deal with these kind of dope's.

I personally work for the company and its been here for 20 years. They may have a different approach but the company is legitimate. It is a wholesale processing company and if you take the time and listen you may learn something as a business owner. The service that we offer will better serve you. Bottom line our services will improve youe net profits because most of you without realizing are giving approximately 5% of you hard earn cash to your processer for nothing....They are the ones that are scamming you.....

Ressi just called.  Wanted the same thing- I figured when I asked for the number she would hang up like most slimy scammers.  But no......If I didn't have 25 plus years experience dealing with this she would have convinced me.

How do we get these people to stop?

Exact same call.  Exact same "red flag" speech.  Exact same "use a marker to black out the merchant number and fax now."  Exact same "can you do it within the next 30 minutes.  She has called 4 times just today.  I guess it is a scam.  I hope it is, anyway...because I am not giving her any info.

There is no such thing as "Visa/Mastercard" when they say that's who they work for, I immediately know they're telemarketers/scammers.

The scary thing is, there was a guy running around town a few years ago saying the same thing that he was 'from visa/mastercard' and wanted to see peoples statements, old 'manual' cc knucklebuster plates...etc...
HELL NO, buddy..

That's MY merchant account and you ain't getting the numbers.

I'm sure if I wasn't here, my husband would have no problem scrambling to get her these statements.

She's a fake, working for a fake company.

WHEN CAN BUSINESSES GET ON A DAMN DO NOT CALL LISTS?? I spend at least 1/2 the day answering these calls, I hang up as soon as I hear them ask "Can I speak to the owner" "Can I speak to the person who handles etc..."

frustrating. as. hell.

Received my 3rd call from Gloria, who claims to be from Visa/MC that I have been overcharged credit card fees.  I played along and gave her some bogus figures.  She wanted me to fax over my Merchant Processing Statement but take a black marker and scratch out my merchant number.  She wanted me to do it while on the phone with her.  I told her I was busy and would take care of it.  "So how long till you can do it? 1/2 hour or so?" I said not sure. Busy.  She actually called back and asked me again how long and can I do it before lunch.  I called my bank and gave them all the numbers and "Gloria's" direct number which is 877-878-6215.  Curious????  Gloria's a busy gal.

They called me today, asked for the owner.  I said for what company and she named mine, then went into the same "red flag" spill like everyone else above.  Stated that I was overcharged in merchant fees then asked who my merchant was?? She could not answer that question that I had regarding this.  She wanted me to fax over my statements that were mailed to me.  I told her they are not mailed to me and she stupidly said "whut, you don't get yo statements"....Really...Most people get them on-line now-a-days.  I figured it was a scam of some sort and pretty sure it is. Don't send these idiots any of your statements.

I got this phone call yesterday, only instead of "Gloria", my call was from a woman claiming the name of Ashley Marshall. Same thing as everyone else concerning the "red flag" issue and apparently I have been overpaying my merchant account fees. I thought I smelled a scam so I called my accountant to see if she had heard anything similar to this from any of her other clients. As I was on the phone with her I googled the phone number to find that this is a scam. I'll be sure to tell every business owner that I can think of about this one.

Just received the same call from "Danny". I asked if he was with VISA, and he tried to beat around the bush (that's not allowed here), saying no, but he worked WITH VISA.  He told me my rates had caused a "red flag" with VISA.  I sure VISA doesn't give a rat's eyelash what I'm paying for merchant services.  When I asked if the company provided "merchant services" he said no; when I asked the company name, he said "Pivotal".  MC was not mentioned by this caller.  I told him I had to have a call back number and that I had to check my monthly statements before I continued the conversation.  :)

'tis the Season. I was away from the office when this call came through yesterday. "Gloria" gave the same information to my wife, including a phone number to call her back. Same approach and "Gloria" called me back today. When she told me that my processor was charging me outrageous fees, I asked her who my processor was. When she told me she didn't know I told her that I did and she had to if she knew what I was being charged. Ended the call with "That's as far as this is going" and hung up. She called back IMMEDIATELY and I again politely ended the call. Reported her to my Merchant's Association in Vermont and then looked up the number here.

Something tells me that we're preaching to the choir. Those of us who have come this far probably aren't the ones being duped. I'd like to see more widespread coverage of this.
