This is a version of the you-have-committed-a-crime extortion scam and you are being...
1. summoned/investigated/charged/whatever with fraud/embezzlement/passing_bad_checks/whatever or
2. served with a court_summons/arrest_warrant/bench_warrant/whatever or
3. located in preparation to_being_served/for_a_lawsuit/to_be_arrested/whatever or
4. sued for cable TV usage that you've been stealing for years or
5. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.

And you have to...
1. call back with your case number or
2. confirm your address/birthdate/SSN/whatever so you can be served or your papers processed or
3. pay $895 now to avoid paying $5,000 in court or
4. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.

received a call from this eric wright telling me that i had to settle or an officer would be there to my home or job to arrest me had a case number and everything made it seem so reqal i actually made one payement wat made me suspicious i call and ask them cud they send me some information on wat i was paying n they said they could not people please be careful they can be so conviencing

I got the same call today.  When I pressed them on it, they were not able to give me any information about their company.  I think they are a scam and I am calling the AZ Attorney General office tomorrow morning when they open back up...

I received a phone call from this company saying that it a law firm and that i will be summoned to court for a payday loan that I know nothing about and have never received any information in the mail in regards to. I was yelled at and told "good luck" in court in regards to this matter. I was transfered to a manager because I wanted more details and they wouldn't provide me with any information about this company. Sounds really weird. Anyone know anything about this?

this is scam - process servers dont call you first to schudule you to be served a summons
