I'm really fed up with Angie's List, this is the latest trick to squeeze information (aka reviews) from customers like I who, incidentally, have written many reviews.  They've changed in the past several years, i'm not renewing.

Yup. however, no matter what you give for feedback, they don't listen and have actually taken information shared from which I believed to be a private conversation and tried to update a review I'd written. Not cool. And the items they promised to take care of , were not addressed.  I'm canceling my AL membership in September.  I've been a member since 2006 and several things have happened which are not cool.  One of them is calling and not leaving a message.

This number sent me a text that they wanted to buy the desk that I was selling........ sight unseen?  Right!  Said they would mail me a check and include the money for me to pay the moving company to deliver the desk to them.  I wrote back, please send certified funds, like a cashiers check.......... That was the last I heard from them!   The Nigerians do this all the time, trying to scam people that fall for this sort of thing.   I doubt that this is Angie's List.  They probably are in Nigeria or Jamaica, home to people that do this for a living.

I will block this # on my phone.

Angies List trying to get you to renew your subscription with there company. Left a message but will not renew or call back. I don't like it when my phone rings and I don't know who it is...

I have account with Angie's Lost, not do not plan to renew. This service us to be free, now it's a fee based service. The newest thing is home builders.com and they are a free service. Why pay for information when you can reach services for free.

They call every damn day, and ignore my demands to be taken off their calling list.  I've never hired anyone through them, I've got nothing to say to their survey, and I regret ever joining. The guy today was rude and argumentative and bragging about his 5 years as a telemarketer, swindling people.

How true. What's the deal with that????

Got 2 calls from this number this week - answered both times but they hung up.  If they don't want to talk to me, they need to stop calling.

I was never a member, nor have I visited the site. Yet get calls with no message left. Refuse to sign up for something just to take my number off some list. Have reported them to the FCC/DNC.

Angie's List bugging me.  I canceled my membership 9 months ago.  They want to know about physicians but never let me access that part of the site.  Wanted more money to unlock it.  Hey, if you want what I know then share what YOU know.  

call latest of several; on once occasion, caller left message from AngiesList.....on other occasions, no message was left.

Yes this is Angie's List. They call constantly! I joined for 30 days, then stopped...now they badger me with e-mail and phone calls asking for my reviews. They even ask for reviews on companies I have never done business with! They're a pest, wish I had never subscribed.

I got a very creepy voicemail from.this number that made no sense at all. They have called me 20 times now. I've never been an angies list member or made an account.

Received a call on my personal cell at 1045am PT. No voicemail message left. Called the # back. Recorded greeting said it was Angie's list about a possible review. Hung up. I never signed up to receive phone calls.

This is very interesting:  I am not nor ever have been a member of Angie's list.  However, I visited their website for the first time ever just looking around and 10 minutes later I get a call from them!  Too funny!

Now go away, it's not funny anymore.

I went to my account, chose contact preferences, unchecked Telephone Calls, Search Follow-up, and Request for Reviews.  Hopefully that will stop the calls.

numerous calls, 3 to 4 per day, durlng last two weeks. possible debt collector 4 a charge from sears to pickup a mattress/box springs that had a serious manufacturing issue when delivered.  sears refused to reverse the pickup charges and I cancelled all ties, credit card and shopping, not paying sears to pickup defective brand new merchandise. sear's demise is foreseen with this type of customer service.

I am getting multiple calls on my cell phone and want it stopped!

I did get one message once. I think they are just trying to get feedback from members.

You know that when you signed up i.e. "provided my phone number" that it said several times that you would be contacted for feedback, and there was a checkbox that asked whether you were ok with that or not, right? I know, I know, I'm the ridiculous one for expecting people to read. /sigh and facepalm. If you don't care to support this type of behavior maybe your illiterate butt could read next time.

As mentioned multiple times this is Angie's List. They follow up basically on searches you have performed. especially if there are multiple to the same type of service. They have no idea if you have actually used any of your search services. they only way they know is if you post a review. If you have used an Angie's List business, please post a review. It helps all. As stated previously you can log on and change your preferences. I just did that this morning after receiving a missed call with no message. I'll see if they stop. So far I have been happy with the services I have used from Angie's list. I have only been a member for about 6 mos. Time will tell.

They just called me and left a message. It's all about trying to get a review outta of me from some work done over a year ago for which I have a no comment and have told them so a few times. It seems they demand a positive or negative report. Still I have the right to say no comment. Several offers of prepaid cards etc but no m&ms!
The message did promise me another call back and I assume they will continue?

Angie's List members all get value when we provide feedback on services we've used, but if you don't want to receive these calls, go onto the member web site, account preferences, and there you can unsubscribe from all emails AND phone calls.
