no its not a scam, its probably one of those online ppl that wants to list your car on their site for a rediculous amount of money.  in most cases if you're selling a use car, you dont need to pay 300 dollars ontop of what you already lost by selling the car.

I got a couple calls from this number too, but turns out no there not a scam they sell vehicles on there ebay store, I signed up with them today and hopefully they can get my full asking price, but I also checked with Dunsbradstreet, they are like a national bigger Better Business Bureau, and they validated the fact that they are not a scam. I paid with Paypal and that is a secure way to make a payment so they cant be a scam!

I get calls from these people also.  I don't even have my phone number posted anywhere.  I posted my car on Craigslist and still they call me 3-4 times a week, different people, same telephone number.  I haven't answered, or called them back.

Same deal.  Got a call from some girl saying to call her at work, she's interested.  Googled #, saw this, won't be calling her.

Got a call today from this number - from a lady who left no name - about buying my Buick. This company could have found it off either cars.com or autotrader.com.

I posted my Sedona on Autotrader.com. Ever since, I have been getting phone calls from different companies, wanting to help me sell my van faster for an additional price. They also state that they will get my full asking price for the vehicle. If they can get the full asking price and sell it faster, than why don't they buy the vehicle and then turn around and sell it. Instead of wasting people's time. This number 877-891-6423 makes the 4 one. I put my van on autotrader.com to sell the thing not to get stupid phone calls that waste my time.

Yup, got a call from the same number. The 877 number was definitely a tip-off. I haven't called back yet but I suspect it's a company looking to help me sell my car for a fee.

I'm selling my Jeep on Cars.com and I got a call from this number.  The guy left a message on my voice mail telling he was interested.  He said his name was Phillip and that he wanted to learn more about my Jeep and asked me to call him at his "house" at (877) 891-6423.  I got home and called back the number but got a voice mail asking me to leave a message or enter in an extension I wish to reach.  I did not leave a message and thought it was suspicious, so I googled the phone number and found this site.  I read over some other comments and it sounds like there are some similarities with other stories.  What's this all about????  Is it a scam??
