Telemarketer
this is a rip off company that also mails totally fake forms though the mail trying to sell  worthless after market auto repair insurance, that looks like it is coming from the cars builder, and in lots of cases for auto's you no longer own or may have belonged to family members long past away as in my case.

UNDER NO CERCOMSTANCES RETURN THIER CALLS  as they HARVEST  the caller id phone number of your phone  then sell them off to other rip off company's trying to sell the same out right garbage , when they do call and one calls their bluff be ready for some very foul language  to head your way,
they also use the number of 909-888-1212 which I think is a fake computer generated number as they are in MO and that number is a CA one

their correct contact information for use to file a complaint with the MO attorney generals office is

American Automotive Service Solutions. Their address: 933 Main Plaza Dr Wentzville Missouri 63385

This is 100% a scam. They called claiming to be calling back about a car quote we requested.  We don't own a car.  There has never been a car registered in either of our names.

Post card was white with red and black print and said "Vehicle Alert Notice **Please Respond Within 5 Business Days**"
Mailing Permit #495, another was permit #792

I got three post cards that look exactly the same but with different customer numbers and phone numbers. When I called the telemarketer attempted to sell me extended warranty coverage and honestly I liked the plan and considered it. However, I am not going to give someone a credit card number based on a crappy post card and a voice on the phone. When I told him I was checking the company out online he told me that they didn't have a website because they were a small business. I told him that I was trying to find something to prove they were a reputable company and he couldn't offer anything other than telling me that the price for their coverage would be enough to show that. He then said they only accept credit/debit cards because if there was a problem I could just call my bank. That is true but if it was a scam how much havock could they create or how much could they buy with my card before I got to the bank and even if I did get it back, the bank doesn't wich eventually one way or another makes my rates/fees go up. When I told him that I would have to decline without any further info he switched from telemarketer to jerk and said, " that's fine I'll go ahead and disqualify you right now, goodbye." Then the line went dead.

$3220 for an additional 5 year bumper to bumper warranty with $100 deductable paid in full within 1 year was the offer they made.

I feel like this company is a scam. I can't find anything on google, yelp, or yp about them.

Recently moved to Florida. Got the mailer today with my FL address on it. I recently registered my car in Fl and took out Allstate insurance on it. So this company probably got my info on car and address from insurance company or FL DMV.

State DMV records are public records, just as are tax and police records.

And, yes, they are sold by the government for profit.

You get a speeding ticket, you suddenly get solicitations from driving schools and ticket-lawyers.
You move and update your license and registration, you get insurance quote solicitations.
You buy a vehicle, you get dealer and insurance solicitations.
You buy a house, you get "welcome" mails and mortgage insurance solicitations.

Here's one better I called Florida's Bureau of licensing and regulation, turns out the registration for the business license is under the name of Jarrett Bell and phone #314-581-0185.  Here's his wife's Allison Bell 314-578-4229. Turns out he breeds dogs while raking in the $$ from unsuspecting consumers so light him up!
His home is 6 TWIN HOLLOW CT, O FALLON, MO 63366-6315  and he's got another address as Jarrett Bell
20 Log Cabin Ln
Troy, Missouri 63379

I had to move under a domestic violence protection order and I need to know how this company got my name, home address, and make/model of my car within 10 days of getting my vehicle/license transferred!!! If I found out the DMV sold my info even though I restricted it, I will sue!!!

I recieved something in the mail today from these people and it was addressed to someone who doesn't even live here or current owner. I've never even heard of the person who it was addressed too! Also, the kicker is I don't even have a car and have no idea what car they were referencing.

These people clearly aren't on the top of their game anymore.

wow...so glad I came across this info about it being a scam.... I purchased my car used a few years ago from a used car dealer along with a warranty to cover any major repairs needed if so happened the car turned out to be a piece and had major problems..... i received a letter in the mail that i thought was legit and probably from the company i originally bought the warranty from...all though in the coverage i supposedly had it only said AVAILABLE.... i just had half my engine rebuilt and had figured my warranty was expired so i footed the bill to fix repairs.... kinda happy when i opened the letter because i thought omg....i can turn in my receipts and get reimbursed.....so i decided to google the company name to see if i could pull up my policy and see if any of the repairs done were covered..... to my amazement i found this instead.....so thankful i did....perhaps i am an idiot for falling for it initially but times are tight and any help is welcomed..... they should seriously be prosecuted and shut down.....no telling how many people have given them a huge chunk of their savings thinking they are helping themselves in the long run to just be ripped off and out the savings they could've spent on there kids or food or other necessities....what a shame it is that people can be this way and steal and lie to others knowing that they are doing just that....trust issues? wonder why so many people have them.....frauds are everywhere and that is extremely said. we should love one another, help one another, as a society in whole.... not deceive, lie, steal and cheat one another just because we think we can.... so sad. whats this world coming to lately

Got a mailer today. These schmucks use the exact same form as my state's DMV for license renewals, etc. My license renewal isn't due another 2 years, so I was already suspicious. It stated I was "Pre-Qualified" for these warranty services, and sounded very threatening ("Final Notice!") but I knew it had to be a scam. I googled their number and found it was, thanks to all of you. What is disturbing is these creeps managed to get ahold of the number of car payments I've made and the monthly payment. I have never dealt with these people, and I don't make any car payments online, so I'm baffled and pissed that they got this personal information that some scumbucket must have sold to them.

These scammers don't include a return address on their mailer, but here is the information:

I got a similar mail today (Oct 29, 2012). I'm in Florida.

I actually thought it was legit because I bought my used car a month ago from a dealership and had no clue if the manufacturer's warranty was still valid or not. I only realized it could be a scam when I searched for a company name on the letter, and there wasn't any. Then, I 'googled' the phone number 877 892 5386 and saw these posts!

Thank you so much guys, u saved me some $$!!!!
God bless y'all

I bought a used car from a dealer in July along with an extended warranty, since then my info has been sold to anyone and everyone including Motor Vehicle Services.  I've received 2 seperate notices from the same place with 2 different customer ID numbers and 2 different phone numbers.  I "binged" them first and found these posts.   I was initially worried that my paperwork for the extended warranty was in jeopardy but see that this is another ruthless bunch trying to scam people.

I didn't receive any phone calls only the mail which I plan to take to the USPS and report.

The numbers on the 2 separate notices are:
888-761-8123 and
877-892-5386

I received the exact same notice as above stated ...My first question I asked was does this have anything to do with "Motor Vehicles Department"...Kevin replied no.

I then opened my conversation with I am an intelligent woman so please don't give me the run around...Get to the point and I would like for you to at least have you do your job and explain to me what this is all about...So Kevin started to talk about this "Expiration Notice" from "Motor Vehicle Services"...also asked me many questions about the my car and wanted to know what running condition the  car was in...He also mentioned at that time they were in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.

I made him give me quotes and he even put on his supervisor Chris to explain to me that I was approved for the Platinum Coverage... First I was told $395.00 down and $261.25 a month for a year.  Then I said I was disabled and on Social Security and those figures did not sit right with me...Then Kevin said that he didn't have to ask his supervisor but he could give me a better deal...$155.00 down and 119.79 a month for a year ...This would be for 5 years and/or 75,000 miles.

Believe me...It all sounded good if you were and idiot.  I do believe I will make a call on Monday to report this.  Thank you all for your comments...Hipefully yours and mine will help someone out there in the dark.  Did not receive any phone calls, just the notice.

Received a mailer from these morons today (funny, it's addressed to me "or current owner" as if the most current owner resides here with me. Ironically, I received another mailer from "Protection Direct" today as well. Makes me wonder who is providing this information about my vehicle. At least Protection Direct (St. Louis, MO) seems to know the year and model of my vehicle. Motor Vehicle Services, however, makes no mention at all of my car, other than a header of TOYOTA * HONDA * NISSAN at the very top of this worthless piece of crap. Love the wording, though: "This letter is to inform you that IF (my emphasis) your factory has expired or is about to expire, you will be responsible for paying for any repairs." Well, duh ... ya think? Here's your sign, idiot ... I have purchased Hondas and Toyotas since 1977 and I have yet to see any benefit in purchasing ANY extended warranty for these well-made vehicles. Consumer Reports specifically warns against any extended warranties on most products and especially vehicles, regardless of make and model. Do not even waste your time on these pathetic morons. I often wonder what it's like to lie for a living like these idiots do.

Received mailer from these folks the other day and called because we had just purchased a used car a few months ago.  One gentleman told me I would not be eligible for their "Elite" warranty package due the number of miles already on the car but said since it was a used vehicle that we weren't responsible for all of those miles and decided to give it to me.... on one condition... That after his "agent' was finished explaining all of the services we would get, that I would (as a "small favor") decide right then and there if we would take the warranty. After telling me it would cost $998/year, I said I would need to discuss it with my fiancee and that it was a higher price than I had anticipated.  His whole demeanor/tone changed and goes on to say, "Well, how else are you prepared to pay for repairs?"... and "You should have told us sooner you weren't in a position to decide now." I said I didn't owe them any explanations and they hung up on me!
