NO CALLS WERE MADE ON MY PHONE BILL WITH THIS # BUT I GET CHARGED $12.95 EVERY MONTH ON MY CREDIT CARD. I CALLED THE # AND ASKED WHY THEY KEEP CHARGING $12.95 AND SHE TOLD ME A BUNCH OF BULL AND I GOT ANGRY WITH HER AND SHE FINALLY SAID SHE WOULD CREDIT THE MONEY BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD AND SHE CREDITED $12.95 THREE TIMES BUT THE SAME MONTH SHE CHARGED ME ANOTHER $12.95. I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER GET THIS STOPPED IF I DON'T CANCEL MY CREDIT CARD OR HAVE MY CREDIT CARD # CHANGED.

I have also been charged 12.95 on my statement.  I had contacted the grant info number, and was able to get them to stop charging me, but now it is back again.  I have not re-contacted them, but just noticed today, another charge for 12.95 on 1/8/10.

What makes matter worse is when these charges are paid, and my account becomes overdrawn!  The bank then charges me 35.00 on top of that, and if I use my card to pick up a coffee, I get charged another 35.00. 70.00 in addition to the 12.95 they just took out without my knowledge.

I think the banks are making money off this scam.

Call your charge card company and report this. You can dispute the charges and be reimbursed. You need to close your old account and open a new one to stop any further charges stemming from this company.

I to have had small amounts taken out of my checking account and today they hit me for $12.95. I thought the small amounts like $3.50 $1.90 ect were from convenient stores for purchases of Powerades and Sodas. Thanks for the phones numbers above; I hope they work. I'll go to my bank Monday too to get this stopped. I have to give them credit, someone's getting rich off this, from unemployed people like myself looking for the unemployment site in my state. I just happen to think this site was part of it. Why couldn't have I thought of this? BECAUSE I'M NOT A SCAMMING LOSER AND IF I FIND THE PERSON DOING THIS I WILL PERSONALLY SMACK THEM DOWN FOR ALL OF YOU ABOVE.

I wish you all the best. I made this mistake and I'll never do it again I hope.

Be careful with the grant express this is the SIXTH charge I've had to dispute with these people. Charges are appearing all over the place and now I have to pay my bank for a new account number. It IS the same company if you're careful you'll get them to read off things they have charged you. Don't go near ANY grant writing information. This has cost me more time and effort than grant writing EVER will.

Very same thing happened to me.  I Clicked on an ad online about Government Funding options and was duped into signing up for their $1.90 cd.  No where that I looked did it say that I was authorizing any other amounts to be charged, however, there were several that followed.  Mostly $1.95 here, $3.95 there.. I called and cancelled my account with them - or so I thought.  Weeks later more $1.95 charges and a pending $12.95 charge.  I called AGAIN to dispute it.  I was told at first that their system was down and that I needed to call back in 5-10 minutes.  Called back in 4 and was able to get someone to look at my account.  She said that there was nothing noted saying that I had called to cancel because there was some other company that they work with that apparently doesn't relay cancelled account information to them.  As far as I know, this is the SAME freaking company jerking me around.  The girls that answer my calls all have the same accents and pretend like they don't understand what I am saying.  Anyway, today she tells me that she's going to reimburse the last $1.95 charge and cancel the pending $12.95 charge.  Believe me, I am going to be watching my account like a hawk until these charges stop coming through.  I'm beyond angry!!  And the rest of you should be too because after I signed up for this stupid thing, my husband tells me that you can access grant money without signing up for this dumb software.  It's a complete scam.  Just call and yell until they stop charging you.  If these charges come out even one more time, I'm cancelling my card and getting a new one.

I didn't get a call but I came back from vacation and noticed a charge for $1.95 as well. I haven't called the number yet but it doesn't sound like it'll do any good after reading previous posts. I'm contacting my bank as well an possibly the Better Business Bureau.

I found this on my account as well.  I got through.  This was one of the "bonus" offers from getting information from "The Grant Express" advertisement.  The name of the company is Platinum Shield ID Protection. I cought it while it was still pending on my account and they reversed the charge.

We ordered a Grant CD for a $1.90 or so from this company and next thing we knew, they'd charged us $69.95 for opting to use their service (which took forever to get back), plus a bunch of little $3.95 charges for unordered E-Books they sent.  After getting as much back as possible, I just found another charge on my bank account for $1.95 citing this same # 877 892-6701.  I didn't realize it was the same company and spent over an hour listening to the "Please Hold" recording as well.  I'm off to complain yet again to my bank.  Good luck on getting your money back as well -- don't let them get away with this.

I just found this same charge on our credit card.  It also says Inf*IDplat.  I have been monitoring our card because of charges from some so called grant finder company.  I have a feeling this is related to the three other unauthorized charges on our account. They appear to have occurred on the same day.  They have to do with a company called Search 4 Grants and Funding.  We are working to get these charges removed from our account.  There are numerous complaints logged concerning this company.

My bank account was charged money from this number, with no company name.  I've been on hold for 1 hour and 23 minutes waiting for someone to answer the call so I can find out what company this is and how and why they took money from my account.
I've been listening to the usual recordings for over an hour:
All our service representatives are busy and your call be answered as quickly as possible.
Thank you for calling all of our agents are currently assisting other customers, please continue to hold and your call will be answered in the order it was received.
We appreciate your patience, the next available representative will be with you momentarily.
Don't know what company this is, but obviously they don't really give a crap about their customers.
