We receive three to four calls a day from this company.  If I don't hear from a manager by 5:00 today, 2-21-2014, I will flood them with e-mails and calls just like they do to our company.  "The manager is not available" no matter what time you call, there's no manager of the manager, are the monkeys running the zoo?

I received a phone call from this company this morning and they left a message saying I was approved for a furniture loan and it should go through any second. The problem is I am on vacation and have not shopped for furniture in over a year!

First I called the furniture company mentioned in the message and luckily they had no records of any loans. So I call this number and the lady says she either needs a reference number or my SOCIAL SECURITY number to look up the loan! Obvious scam! No company is even allowed to ask for your social security number to look things up. So I told her hell no and immediately put blocks on my credit account.

Watch out for this company!

My girlfriend and I have used them several times and have been very pleased.  We paid one loan off within 90 days and had no problems, we have also asked to move a payment and they have been very flexible and fair with us.  If you have bad credit and can afford what you buy this is a good program and would recommend to anyone.

I went got a phone  from a cell phone company . they told me all I have to pay at that time was the $55.95.
Then i got E-mail saying I my Monthly payments would be $74.71 a month I was not told that I would have to pay for a cell phone costing $400 or more. ,I'm really up set with this Company. I believe it is a scram

They are Crooks!They ripped me off,an laughed,as if the situation is cute!An i advise anyone that deals with them to watch um!As a matter of fact,I suggest that no one deals with them at all!Nothings funny about ripping someone off!Now I just made a post,that some how disappeared,when I've only told the truth,so to warn hard working people,as well as those in poverty struggling,but being ripped off,therefore I'm posting again,because its wrong!!!They took apr.$250.00 extra from my account,an planned to continue drafting,had I not caught it when I did!Beware

Progressive Finance is a crooked company an I don't care what nobody say!I pay my bills an on time might I add!I purchased A bedroom suit at Galaly Furniture an yes Progressive approved me alright,by taking apr.$250.00 extra from my bank account,after my contract was over!Had I not discovered a difference in my checking account,they would have continued to take more!You don't play with people's money like that,it's wrong!An not everyone takes things like that lightly,because everyone has a story to life,an not all of  us depend on God to retaliate as I do,an I know he will deal with them!I can only hope that others read this,an be very skeptical of company's out here like them!I had to pretend bein a buyer to even get an answered line,an when I did,the rep.laughed an told me good luck getting your money back,then had the nerves to call me ratchet,because I told him what they did,an called them crooks!Come on now, this 2013 what kind of unprofessional conduct is that!Their Crooks!!!

We have used this finance company to purchase several pieces of furniture, and have had zero problems. If you don't have the money to be making the payments then you shouldn't be financing it. Period.

There are good points that can be made against them but what I've found that any time I needed to alter anything with my payments or account (I've had three) they've been extremely flexible with me. Would I use them for a 12 month term? No. But if you pay attention to what you're getting into, it is better than 99% of even traditional financing options because of the 90 day SAC. P.s. the customer service was very friendly I thought - ans I get an increased approval amount each time I go back. 5 stars!

Call 24 hours a day, several times per day. Either a message looking for a Erica Myers or a very rude person telling me that I know who this person is and I better get them to the phone or else I'm going to be arrested. Filed police report.

I bought a bunk bed for my son using Progressive as my finance company, and at the end of my payments I received a final payment letter stating that everything was paid in full. I am planning on buying a living room set and use them to finance my purchase again. ninety days same as cash allows us to use our money to do other things as well as get the item for cash. If we cannot pay it off within 3 months, we are still given a discount if we pay off the balance before twelve months. That is great!

right on she just didn't have the funds at the time and want to blame the company and since they didn't she gets mad and wants to give the couch back.  Lady please these people didn't go looking for you. you came to them, for credit.  i got some furniture for them an they had no problem from me and i paid them off. learn how to balance your checkbook lady.....

I went with the company to get a dining room table and was very pleased with the 90 same as cash deal until my confirmed 90 was up and my table completly paid off and there still taking money outta my account. Waiting onn 9o'clock to let them knw how I'm feeling about this situation.

Well you made a purchase and signed a contract giving them legal ground to debit your account and it is an auto debit so it can't be just stopped immediately it would take a few weeks and for some companies a whole month.  No company is perfect but when you sign your name you gave them the right.  So basically saying the compay is bad can't be justified by your situation...you could say that you were just as bad of client to want to breach your contract with them and if you read the fine print they told you up front when your account would be debited so having the money avaliable was your responsibility and when they wouldn't bend the rules for you...you got mad. So can you really say that they are a bad company just because they were doing their job?

Someone may have used your info and made a purchase using them, but they are a legitimate company I use them all the time to buy funrniture...in the last 8 years I have bought beds, dinning room furniture etc and I have no problems...so I would check into it if they are calling you because someone gave them your number on an application and possibly using your social security number to make purchases....now that is called identity theft because these people don't just call you for marketing promos even after you use them.

A scam is when someone pulls somthing over your eyes  or when the terms are hidded. If you know the terms of the deal it's just poor purchasing decision. Just Pay The borrowed amount within the allotted 90 day term or do  without the item

I am VERY pleased with Progressive Finance and have recommended them to my own family members.  I purchased a living room suite from Rooms to go last year and was financed by them.  The process was painless.  I will be finish paying it off next week at 65% of the remaining balance.  So I don't have the pay 100% of the remaining balance.  I was on disability for 3 months due to surgery and I called and spoke to Pam,then a gentleman in collections.  They fully worked with me.  I was told to send in $50 per month and at the end of the 3 months they will re instate my payments of $236.00.  I appreciated the fact that they were understanding of my situation and was willing to work with me!  

Communication is the key!  For those of you that know that you didn't make a purchase, you need to report it as identify theft or fraud.  And report it to your local law enforcement agency.

I am really not happy with this company, I have purchased a couch from Carpet Source and more, Threw Progressive Finance company  that Financed me, I decided to not want to pay for the couch I wanted to return it after 3 months, They told me I had to make a payment before surrenduring the couch back to them, I told this lady Pam there to come and get the couch and not to debit my account cause there was not enough in the account to cover the payment. Well she went and debit my account and over drawn it. I do not like this company, They are a poor business finance company....

Received email from "progfinance.com" (this could be spoofed) with a response telephone number of 877-898-1970. The letter claimed I had made a purchase when I had not, and was suspiciously lacking any real personally identifying information about myself. Smells like a scam.

I had no problem with Progressive Finance.  Purchased a bed at Lee Blum furniture and paid it off in 90 days.  Was running a few days late with final payment and they worked with me to avoid extra interest.

I purchased a much needed mattress in June 2009 and I progressive financed me for 12 months and I paid it off in six months. I had absolutely no issues with them. They offered me an extended amount of credit if I ever needed to use them again.

I had no problems with this company, I bought a bed from stick n stuff.  progressive financed me no problem.  i paid my bed off in three months.  i was pleased.  no problems here.

Progressive Finance.  I used them when I needed to finance furniture I wanted to purchase at Furniture Factory Outlet.  Payments are kind of high but that's cause you pay it off in 6 months.

The offer a get something quick buisness. After finding out the details, thinking they were a accredited finance company. I asked not to go forwarded... So they keep calling! BBB gives them an "F" for their practices... My advice would be to stay CLEAR!

Identity Theft...just looking to see where this company is exactly. I received an email thanking me for a purchase I did not make.
