Also got a call from "Tina Pratt at x100" about winning a car, though we are on Do Not Call list. Pure bunk. Submitted complaint at FCC, then called 877-925-9171 to advise them of our DNC status. Number doesn't work. It's probably a scam to just get you to call back so they can target you for more scams. DON'T CALL BACK! -Unless from a protected number like Skype or other VOIP.
Use this FCC website to submit a complaint. As they get more complaints the FCC will be more likely to crack down on the losers.

Good luck

"Tina Pratt" called and said she was trying to contact me about winning a new SUV. I am on the non-call list and would appreciated this company or person being fined or at least stopped

I notice I'm still being accused of wrong doing though I'm unemployed? Below is an older thread which states my position. I don't believe in scamming/taking advantage of anyone!
I, Justin Goldman, do not own a call center, make telemarketing calls, operate predictive dialers, or give away SUV's. I was employed for a brokerage firm that hired some rule breakers on a W9 basis. I picked out the domain names yourconfirmationletter.com and it's sister site daydrives.com and eventually ended my tenure because I chose not to participate in the business because of sites like these. I never wanted to see my name here when I was just a paid employee following directives. PMS is a small group of telemarketers who set appointments for companies like Sunshine Promotions who pays per completed appointment. I will testify I am not involved in neither organization.

I can vauge for Justin. He is one of the upstanding people that used to be employeed by the brokerage firm. Jusitin never made one phone call, set one appt, or mislead one person regarding the different presentations the companies did.

We heard from Tony at Gift promotions today (5/18/2010) that we had won a car. The origination number on the caller ID was: 708-926-9221.
| Spott 2010-05-09 23:45:15 Unknown |
Hm, I received a message from Tony at Gift Promotions, and yes, I had to listen to the message 3 times to understand the name of the company too. But it was confirmed when I called back the number 877-925-9171 and the recorded message said "you have reached Gift Promotions...bla bla...please leave a detailed message in order to have your call returned. We were only referred to as "hi folks" when Tony called, and he said we won a new "auto" and to call back within 48 hours to claim our "prize". I'm seeing below that someone else actually talked to someone when they returned the call and they were told that all they had to do was sit through a 90 minute presentation. Ha! These are timeshare presentations and my husband and I have sat through about 20 of them over the past dozen years. We've bought 2 and are happy with them, but we don't need any more. These sales people are always very aggressive and even though they say you're not obligated to buy anything, they will accuse you of wasting their time if you don't. And even though they are the ones who have approached you and lured you in rather than you being the one to contact them first. Some of them are legitimate and offer very nice resort packages, but some of them are shysters. Check with the Better Business Bureau before you agree to anything. Good luck!
| justsaying 2010-05-09 17:16:38 Unknown |
it means you probably owe someone some money...cut a hole in the box
a collection agency probably is trying to find you...put your junk in the box
did you give em your name...open the box...
thats the way we do it.

The company offers reseller services, including domain services, email services, personal names service
my guess they are just verifying names...reselling them...
...might buy on the dip

got a message from Tony.... could not understand the company name. Of course, he said i entered a drawing and recipient of a new automobile. He never mentioned the name entered in the drawing. and also said i only had 48 hrs to return the call.
I think this is bogus. i will not be returning his call.

Called at 6:29pm on 5/3/10 and left a prerecorded call on my anwering machine. The actual calling number was 708-926-9217, a number connected to PMS Assoc. LLc 127 Echo Lake Rd. Watertown, CT 06795. They are telemarketers who provide "marketing solutions" to their clients. They are rated "F" by the BBB.
The prerecorded caller identified himself as "Paul Pierce" and that he had good news for me re "the entry I submitted" to win a new SUV, and then gave 877-925-9171 ext 100 for me to call back. For the record, I did not submit any entry to win anything, ever. I'm also on the DNC and filed a complaint with FTC.
Based on other posters experiences on this and other boards, the 877-925-9171 number seems associated with Sunshine Promotions, 901 31st, NW, Washington, DC. 20007. They specialize in highly suspect travel packages where people seem to lose their deposits on a regular basis. The BBB also rated them "F". One poster stated he returned the call and they referred him to WWW.Yourconfirmationletter.com. ALLWHOIS provided the following info on the registrant of the web site:

What ole Justin's connection is with PMS and Sunshine, if any, is unclear.
If you get a call from these characters, don't bother calling back. No free car, just a sales come on, and in violation of the DNC to boot.

I received a phone call the other day that said I won 1 of their top 4 prizes. Today the phone call was from Paul Pierce that said I won a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Explorer. The phone number the call was from is 877-925-9171 ext 100.....The first call said the company was Mitchell Communications...the call today had no company.

I just recieved my call back message for the same. I have tony and Paul leave me a message. Last night I called them back told them to call me on my cell as I was courious about the offer. As with everything if it is to good to be true then it is.
Milt Hampton called me back wanted some information and before I said I would give him my name I needed to know where I had submitted my name for the drawing. Well he said Home Depot during May last year. Well since I frequent Home Depot i thought ok listen to what he has to say.
I had one 1 of 4 prizes. Navigator, vacation, 2500.00 cash or a 32" flat screen. I need to go to 3050 K st NW Washington DC Suite 901 which is really on 31st NW. Me and my wife needed to come and provide our drivers lisence and a major credit card as proof. I would lonly need to show my name on the credit that match the ID. Sit through a 90 presentation on Sunshine Promotions and that I was under no obligation to buy anthing to recieve my FREE GIFT.
I started out by googling Sunshine promotions and found numerous complaints about there fraudulent practices.
Needless to say I will not be attending the time I said I would.

I received a message today stating that I won either a Lincoln Navigator or a Ford SUV. They didn't even say who the company was but it showed on my caller id as PMS Marketing. Has anyone called either of the numbers back? Maybe we all won cars! :)

Received a message that I was a guaranteed winner of either a Lincoln Navigator, Ford Explorer, 27" TV or $25,000.
I must attend a 90 minute seminar and was given this website with a confirmation #
http://yourconfirmationletter.com/
Was also told to bring 2 forms of ID like a credit card or checkbook must have an income of at least $50,000 or more.
My initial message was on my answering machine from Tina Pratt, but when I called there was no answer then as soon as I hung up my phone rang with a guy name Wilt Hampton who claim to be the supervisor, he also gave me his personal cell phone number (219)-487-9783.
The number that appears on the caller ID is (708)- 925-9171 PMS Marketing

I got the call yesterday from Tina Pratt said I won a Ford Explorer or a Lincoln Navigator, or so the message said on my VM. I'll be filing a complaint on the Do Not Call website.
