Got this call on my friends cell phone, who knows how they got that number. They said it was a call regarding my social. She asked for another number to contact me because she thought that that was my cell. My friend said she couldn't give her my number without my permission.

u rite i got the same thing from these low life 2 . they need to try different tactic and for what they are doing is not working on me .

This company actually phoned my landlord at his number to try to leave a message for me.  (I live in the mother-in-law apartment next door).  Of course when he asked what it was about, they said it was "private" and left only the number of 877-945-9701 and the name "Mitchell" (although my landlord said it was a woman who called).  When I call back, there is no answer.  It sounds as if it might be a collection agency trying to collect on a 20 year old debt.
