This is a BT sms messaging service, converts text messages to voice on BT phones. If you want it to stop Dial 0800 5875 252
press 1 more options are then given press 5 to stop this service. Hope this helps :-)

this call was received on 1 jan 2014 at 4 30 am and was very disturbing as my wife is disabled and was very up setting for her

I was called at three in the morning by this number, I did a 1471 to complain to them, but it was an automated message,, some garb about a delivery had been made.

Had a phone call, saying mums dieing, on this number. I think they want there heads looking at.

It (08456 021111) IS a genuine BT number that calls you when someone has (in my case mistakenly) texted a landline number. Worry no more.

08456021111 has called 7 times in 5 hours. I don't reply but they keep repeating the call. A great nuisance!

this number is calling my landline every 5 mins  it is so annoying

Is there a charge to the receiver of a sms text message alert, if i press 1 and listen to it.

please can this pesky call be stopped its ringing continually until 22.00hrs I do not intend ever answering.

I received a rude text to my house phone  from a mobile number I recognise - (it was a spoken text).  But when i dialled 1471 the number came up as 08456021111

Hi there everyone, I have had this number phone the house all day but after a brief chat with a friend I managed to work it out, a friend of mine had sent me a text and sent it to the wrong phone, so it would seem this is someone sending text messages to the house phone and this is who translates them xx

Received an SMS Voice text message from BT thanking me for changing my bank details with my BT account... I hadn't.  Contacted BT enquiring what was going on... they informed me at no point have they contacted me & all my details are untouched... IS THIS A SCAM CALL?

hi does it charge me if i answer the phone call?or is it just if i phone the 0845 number

I had couple today. I am with Talk Talk and I pressed 2 to save it (I do not pay for 1571 however which is a typical function of that) and came to check whether you are charged if you opt to retrieve or even listen to the msg? I can't find any info on this from Googling/Talk Talk help - Anyone know??

I had a call from 0845 6021111 with an SMS message I did not have a pen so l saved it , how do i get the message back as its on being saved for 1 day

i had several missed calls from this number today all one minute after the other at 9.20 - 9.30 pm, if i answer next time will i be charged and does anyone know who and why this number is calling? is it a scam or a BT company?

Received a call from the 'SMS Text Store from BT' it was a text voicemail. "I wrote your name in the sky but the wind blew it away, yada yada"

It was held on 08456021111 which I foolishly called back trying to find out who sent it. I suspect its just a scam, they send you a daft but intriguing SMS message and you call back (and probably get charged) when trying to find out where it came from as I didn't recognise the accompanying phone number.

I am ex-directory so quite where they got my number from I don't know.

Why these people are allowed to send unsolicited text messages I don't know.

Received a call from 8456021111 at 5:14pm, on Monday 20th July 2009. This number was given on my phone after I dialled 1471 to identify number. Called back number to see who the caller was, dialing number without any "0" in front of 845 and got through to some guy. I said "you just tried to call me so I'm returning your call".  He sounded confused.  I said "Are you 845602111?". He said "sorry mate, this number doesn't exist".  I said it does as my answerphone picked it up. He replied "it can't do, I mean 845 and ending in 1111." I repeated it does because I've just dialled it and I've got through to you. He then replied "oh, alright mate" and then hung up.  It left me feeling very suspicious that my phone was vulnerable to some kind of scam...

They said it was an emergency and for me to ring a  02..number they gave me. For obvious reasons ive not rung.

have had a few calls from this number as a text. phoning at early in the morning and message isnt very clear but says aomething bout being a lazy slag. very unhappy about such calls and want it to stop !

It is just a BT text message number - someone has sent you a text message. To hear it just dial 08456021111! The post on page one even gives you the details on how to call and change the timings that it can contact you.

People, please don't be lazy/stupid - take the time to read what infomation others have written on the subject before posting your sob stories about how this woke you up at 10pm and your worried that it might be the CIA trying to get information out of you because you have a three legged cat. No one care - just read the damn thread!

Hi there , Its an alright service! We too were persistantly called at 10 pm going on till a quarter too eleven.Tracing the caller it transpires that it was my son sending me a message R.U.O.K Paul.Bless him ,he too was obviously frustrated at phoning through in the daytime and not getting a reply.We have a habit of being out a doing things.

Dialled 1471 and then pressed 3 to retrieve my message, chuckling at the way the automated voice tries to pronounce welsh words!!

Don't panic about this number guys, it's what happens when someone sends a text to your landline is all.  And for those people gettig calls at 2.00 in the morning, send a text to all your mates and tell them to stop drunken text dialling after a night out!

Hi, I got a call from this number it was from Clarks Shoes and it said (the automated voice) that my shoes are ready for collection

i had a call from this no. (08456021111) this morn trying to sell me car insurance . .. politely told him to please take me off their database but he put the fone down b4 i could finsh!! so i called back and got the same guy CHRIS and told him not to put the fone down on me you pr*ck !!

he then called 20 or so times in order to annoy me!! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE ...AND NOW!!!!!!!
