Did he show?

Haha yeah i kind of figured as much, I have sent in a debt validation which by the FDCPA they have to provide withing 5 days of first contact, i used certified mail. They are pretty persistent though these douches, Bill called me today which to tell me he would be at my home at 2pm, and if i weren't there he would then go to my place of employment. I will be home at 2, i doubt he will show. I'd also love for him to go to my employer, pull up to the gates with the m16 armed men and ask for entry lol

Only on TV, on the "Bozo the clown" show. Ever watch the Fox tv show "Cops"? Ever see the police officers call the crooks to tell them they're coming? Always ask for proof of debt in writing. By US Mail. Not fax, text, or email.

So, just for kicks, while typing my previous message.... I gave the number a call.  Someone answered, not identifying the company again, so I just hung up on them.  A few minutes later, I receive a call from yet another number:
(855) 765-9664
The message said they were trying to figure out who had just called them, and to please call them back... at the different number.  A quick google search comes up with this website:

Besides the fact the website is shady on it's own, so is the company address:

Ahhhh Buffalo, NY, home to so many other scammers.  Probably the same one that's tried to get me before, under new operations and methods.

Anyways, I say again, these people are scammers.  Don't let them trick you.  Just get an app for your phone like PrivacyStar or Mr. Number and block them.

The call is actually coming from an unknown / blocked number (first tip off).  A man leaves a message on my VM identifying himself as Bill Davenport, claiming he will be serving legal papers on <date>.  He has called for 3 days now.  Today is the day he will be "serving" me my legal papers....  :P
Everytime he calls, he says that I can call the "claimants" office at (877) 957-4821, with a case number.
Also noteworthy: He never leaves the name of any company, either "his" or the "claimants".

For anyone receiving a similar call - this is a scare tactic.  Real legal services will not warn you they are coming to serve you papers.  It is actually illegal to threaten court proceedings in the attempt to collect a debt.  However, these people are not attempting to collect a debt - they are scammers.  Do not fall for them!
