You NEVER get a heads up if you're going to be served!  The court process server just shows up.  NEVER pay any caller unless they MAIL proof that you owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt.  Any caller who refuses to mail this documentation to you, or who refuses to give their company name, physical and mailing addresses, is owed NOTHING, per the FDCPA.  Report the caller to the FTC, FBI, Dept of Justice and your state's Attorney General.

I got the same call from this number. He called himself Dillon Murray, a legal courrier. He called me at my work and stated he would be delivering papers at my home or place of business for my signa ture where they are sending me to court for a debt I owe. I was furious but caught on quick because I knew it had to be a scam. They are giving you this scare tatic to get you to ?send them money. He aso said they would show up with a local sheriff in my area....over a $400 debt that I supposedly owe? Who does that???
