Today I got a call from this very same gansters from so call Shanghai, they ask me some question it sound like they won`t to do investment in my company and  also ask me to spell my name.Then she tell me that they are working with a company here in Norway that is going to call me  back.basters.
I hear wierd things happening with people`s credit cards. last days so be aware!! of this f****rs .

Received a call from a woman stating she phoned from Shanghai with a business proposal to invest 5 K US$. Disconnected and blocked the number.

I also had a strange message on my voicemail, sound of talking in the background, but couldnt understand what language they were speaking

2 DAYS ago, i had someone from this number call my work in Denmark asking for me and asking about accomodation... And my work went and gave them my mobile number... I had 2 missed calls , i wrote a message back asking ,who is this that call me ..no reply... today again, i see someone from this number has tried to call me.. How are they managing to get names and our phone numbers??  Can this be down to someone hacking computers getting details etc??  I dont like this 1 little bit... I have just added the number to my reject / blocked users list on my phone... And now had to do a thorough virus / spyware scan on everything i have..and changed passwords etc...Hate these crooks...

Got a call from this number today and it knocked out my entire calling list.

Its from Bangladesh, but saying they are from China. I got this call right after spam emails and SMS from Nigeria-scammers in Turkey, so I guess they try to scam

Same story here in Denmark. Woman from "e-marketing company in Shanghai" already had my name, and wanted it confirmed. Also wanted a contact email. I told her to get a browser and find all that on the website, at which point she hung up.

+882 is a catch-all (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Networks_%28country_code%29), and there seems to be a rogue phone company who will send out fake caller-IDs (e.g. 7654321) for cash. I have told my phone company that they should stop forwarding information from that origin, as they are essentially vouching for it. Don't expect anything to happen, but it had to be done.

This morning i've received a call from this number but was fortunately too late to answer. Then they probably have called me a second and third time but this time unrecognizable and left no message....

Why call me from a +88 number????

?monday, 06.05.2013 got the same all from the same guy and the same women from the rcording. They offered about 10.000 USD investment to me. I talked to them bacause it sounds facinating :)))  Im sure its scam!!!!

I think that they cannot take money from your bill if youre only answering the call.

Also got a call today.
Two weeks after I sent requests for sourcing Chinese goods.
Caller was from Shanghai and was calling on behalf of other investment companies.
Asked whether I had invested in a stock exchange before. How old I was. To spell my name.
They also kept on mentioning $5000 minimum purchase amounts for sellers.
Probably a good idea to change all security and banking numbers to a new number.

Stubborn scam, don't answer

Tried to call me once, I rejected the call, then tried again, I rejected again and this went on for couple of times until I answered and hung up immediatly.

Called our company today pretending to be from UPS.
Tried to fish out answers to security questions to our UPS account.
He would not give out any details about what the package/case was or where it came from or where it was going to because he was'nt at liberty to discuss that.

Juuri tuli puhelinsoitto tästä numerosta, vastasin mutta puhelu suljettiin. Just got a phone call but they hang up. Had a foreign work travell about an month ago and did not pay attention to for first numbers.

they called me today (17. April 2013) a few times. I am in Austria. I didnt answer since i generally dont pick up unknown numbers, especially foreign numbers.

And BTW. Thank you for your recording. Very entertaining in hindsight!

This is exactly how the conversation went, followed by the redirection to the marketing manager, when they called me.  Today I left two phone calls unanswered witthin five minutes from each other.

They have called me twice. Once yesterday and again today.
The pattern is the same. They call my mobile number and then terminate the call immediately. The advice I have read is this: If you can see the "+", sign at the beginning of the caller number on your telephone display, don't answer the call. and make sure that the number  is added to a list of rejected numbers in your phone. so your phone automatically rejects the number in the future.

Got same calls. They can charge you for only picking up the phone I heard.

This number called me today. They wanted to speak to owner of the company. I said we have a family business and I'm speaking on behalf of the owner who can't discuss in English. Then he several times asked if I'm Marketing Director or some other Director and when I repeated we have family business and I'm speaking on behalf of the owner he hang up before getting to the main point of his call.

04/04/13 they also called me. I am a owner of a company and they wanted to do business with us. She couldn't explain what kind of. When requesting me to spell my name for her, I decided to hung up.

Chinese woman calling from Shanghai wanted to talk to the manager of my company. Would not say why. When admitted she hangs-up.
