Got a call from this number at about 12:07pm, caller id: Name Unavailable.  Did not answer.  Tried calling the number and "the number you called is not a valid number, Please check.....".

Computer generated voice claiming my "computer was generating error messages" and that I should press a button to talk to someone.  Hung up as this is obviously a complete scam.  Reported to donotcall.gov

Just got a call from this number.  I didn't answer and they left no message.  I appreciate the comments about this number.

Microsoft scam as noted above

Called last night about 8 p.m. Said my computer was sending error messages. Same call I got a long time ago. Last time I DID press 1 and Obama got elected! Not falling for that again.

Sorry, Area code 884 does not belong to the US Virgin Islands. We are still and only 340 (all islands), ever since the change from 809 to distinguish us from other islands in the Caribbean.  This 884 seem to be unassigned. No doubt a spoofed number like the 000-000-0000. I have searched high and low for both these numbers

Get a recorded message, female voice, advising me that my computer is sending error messages and I should press 9 to speak with a certified engineer.  Well so am I and my computer is not sending errors, it is a scam trying to get you to let them take control of your computer so they can plant malware or steal your information, passwords, etc.  Don't allow this to happen under any circumstances.  Area code 884 by the way, is in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Received a call from this number shortly after 5:00 p.m. today.  Caller ID said "Name Unavailable".  We did not answer and they left no message.
