They called but I did not answer - checked it out here and sure enough a credit card scam. Nobody should ask you cc number over the phone without first having identified you another way.

Got a call from them and they said they were "Card Member Services" and needed my 16 digit card number or SSN before they could tell me what they were calling about. I said that before I give any information I wanted to know what bank were they representing. They hung up.

They now some how got husband's # and told him they were my former employment

They are calling me non-stop, and want to get my social security number first before wanting to tell me what they call me for.

They say they are "Card Member Services" when I asked them what that means I get "We are card Member Services, if you'll give me your SSN I can look up your information and tell you why we called." Ummmm no. The only "card" I have is an American Express" and they would call me direct. Probably a debt collector of credit card solicitor of some flavor and that's why they are shady about telling you who they really are.
