The call signifies that you probably have a prolonged garanty for your washer, dryer or something and it comes to an end.
Since the garanty lasts for 3 years, I had forgotten I had one for my washer.
Following a series of call I didn't answer, I finally called the number mentionned in previous message and was given Sears garanty dpt number:  1-800-361 6665.

I was pleased because, now is when I want to ensure the garanty of my machine.
What is silly is that they don't leave a message or send some form of mail to remind their customers that their garanty comes to an end.

sent this to sears just now:  I have told Sears many times over the years and this will be the last time...quit calling my house unless I have ordered an item that you are notifyingme about. Your robot calls are extremely endless and annoying. I do not answer any calls I do not recognize. I found out by googling that 877-889-2024 is you.  Anymore and I'll just stop going to Sears or ordering from Sears and will share that with the hundreds of people that I am joined to on Facebook!

Sears will never get any of my business ever again due to this automated bot that keeps calling. I will be sure to post this at my corporation that I work at as well as my friends to tell their friends etc.... Good job sears keep it up and you might as well claim  bankruptcy now. Not impressed, I never even bought an appliance from you, but for some reason you keep calling.

20 calls from 1-887-889-2024 since April 30. I just called 1-866-491-2247 to remove my name from the list. The lady at Sears said that she would remove my number from all types of communication.

Received calls 6 times in one week... no voice, no sound only silence.

This number has been calling several times a day .... 'dead air' then a hang up after some 15 seconds.
Can count on this happening generally 3 times a day ... morning, afternoon then evening.

Strangely, this number will, after several days, disappear from my call display list without my prompting.

it was sears offering me a long term garanty on the dishwasher i bought from them.. they had called PLENTY of times before i decdied to pick it up...

This number calls daily, will not leave message and a blank call, when I try to call this number back I am told that this number is not avaliable in my calling area

Calls no answer at other end

this number has called every day for the last 10 days at the same time at night. it is really irritating. they don't leave amessage but keep calling.

877-889-2024;  This number calls, hangs up, waits to get your voice mail server but never leaves a message.  It is SEARS .. you can call 1-866-491-2247 to request to have them amend your profile so that they do not call you.

Received calls 4 times in one week. Did not answer the first 3 times. They did not leave a message. I answered the fourth time. They knew my name and that i own a business. I said that there was nobody with this name. They apologized and hung up. This is no good.

Frequent caller & I mistakenly answered.  No dial tone & no voice or fax.  Just dead air.
