Almost all letters go out automatically the first time there. He was probably being careful because this industry has turned from collections to customer service. Here is an idea use that couple bucks you got from those lawsuits and pay off your debt. Nah who does that these days.

You are clearly not to smart. Just because the li.it was x amount doesn't mean that is all that you owe. Your agreement that you signed when you wanted that money which you didn't pay back clearly explained collection cost and interest doesn't stop. Over that long of a period that amount seems about right. Should have paid it off when it was only a small debt.

I'm confused at why its a sin to call people for money they owe within the strict boundaries the law allows. Isn't it more of a sin to take something with a promise to pay back but never do so? It's amazing how many pastor's or very religious people who quickly make excuses that don't add up in the end or over multiple conversations but when you question them on that we are the devil and the will pray for us.

This people keep calling my house and my cell phone for someone who doesn't live or has been associate with my family. I have told them repedetly to stop calling. I'm seriously annoyed ?????

Call your bank and tell them to stop the withdrawls for these people.

Yes...I have received calls from them for over a year.  Three times a day except Sunday...when I hope they are in church or at least praying for sins of calling people....They are a joke and scam...I do not know how they got my new cell phone number.  No one has my cell except family and friends. They start calling at 8:00 am and then at 9:00 am and in the afternoon....from different  numbers and private number.  I answered their call one time....I talked to this lady...I said to her I know who you are?  She says you do.?  I said yes...you are scamming people!  I hung up!  My credit card limit was only $500.00 in 2005 I could not possibly have $3,000 I owe them....lolololol I tore the credit card up in 2005. However...in their written letters they say we will accept $800.00 to clear up this matter.  LOLOLOLOL

Dear Consumer....these people are relentless....they call me 3 times a day for 6  mos since 2012 still. This was a credit card balance that was paid off....they say I owe...$3,000.  they will accept $800.00 which my credit line was only $500.00 in the first place....this credit card I have not used since 2005. I will not have any credit cards...I pay cash for everything since 2005.  I wrote them...disputing their claim....I talked to them once and they got a ear full.  I told them never to call me again....anything is in writing.   Only time they do not call is on Sunday's.  They must be in church repeating their sins for the last week in calling innocent people they are trying to instill fear intimidation ...God Love them!

This is a scam dear.  My  husband passed away 10/25/2004 from lung cancer and got calls from these people...they are relentless.  I wish you well.

Michael....I have been receiving these calls from this Richard Boudreau as well over 6 mos.  they start calling every day at 8 am then at 9 am then in the afternoon....they use various phone numbers.   I do not answer the calls either...my situation with this credit card co. was taken care of in 2005 and they say I owe $3000 however...they will accept $800.00 My credit card limit was only $500.00 in the first place...lololol I replied to them via post...and credit card co. had deducted from my checking account in 2005 $800.00 without my consent. My bank profusely apologized.  This is a scam.  I did answer one call and I went off on them...I told them I will not talk to them via telephone ever again that was a month ago...they stopped calling and then started this 3 times a day calling....no calls on Sunday's...I guess they go to the Church on Sunday to repeat their sins...lololo

These people have been calling me for 6 mos. I do not answer them when they call. I answer the phone then hang up. How they got my cell phone number I do not know. They had been calling  my landline.  No one is allowed to give out cell phone number. This credit card company without my consent... deducted $800.00 from my checking account 2005. My bank profusely apologized. This credit card company got their money then some... Interesting...I only had a credit line of $500.00 in the first place.  So they put on all these late fees that added up to $3,000.00 since 2005 today through written correspondence. I wrote to them and told they need to contact the credit card co. to validate my statement.   What a scam!   I  have not a credit card since 2005 as a result of this and never will.   I pay cash for everything now!

I've gotten calls from various numbers, including 866-890-1644. I am sure it is Richard J. Boudreau & Associates, LLC calling, but I will not answer any of their calls. I got a mailing from them too, and am IN WRITING contesting the alleged debt and also requested contact from them ONLY VIA POSTAL MAIL. By law, they should comply. This should stop the calls.

I spoke with Budreau and Associates earlier today. Apparently they have read my file, and know I have no issues suing debt collectors who break the law because they were trying to be extremely careful with what they said to me.

They did try and say that they mailed the required letter notifying me of the debt they are attempting to collect, which they have not. So they have already broke one law there. I ask the guy twice if they were sending the letter, and he said "THAT'S MY JOB". Apparently he doesn't do his "job" very well...

repeated phone calls from this company~ after telling them the person they seek are no longer attached to this cell phone number, they become verbally abusive and rude.  I have already distributed my cell phone number to many friends, family members and colleagues and refuse to ask for a new number.  How do I stop this harrassment?

Calling and leaving a message for my husband's ex wife from way back.  Obviously Googling or skip tracing whatever numbers they can run down.  Really, Boudreau and Associates, don't pester people who are not involved in your debt collection trails.

Thank you so much for this information..... It is great.  I am finding that this company Boudreau and assocaites don't have it together whatsoever.  They have called and harrassed me for a year now.  They have threatened me and my neighbors.  Can you believe they also called my neighbors and tried to harrass them.  No real documentations have been sent to me for payment even after I went to court.  I tried to call the law office and then they wanted my ssc # I only wanted to talk to the Lawyer but was told I could not.  Now I have set an appointment up with another Lawyer to get to the bottom of their scam they have going there.  Oh by the way they also harrassed my kids.  I rather pay payments to a lawyer who could stop such harrassement as what they have been doing to my family and neighbors.

I bank with Chase and had a simular problem with another agency. I brought the agreement in and they could see that I paid my part of the agreement and they refunded my overpayment and took the overage back from them. I also got a new atm card. If that doesn't work tell the bank you lost your card and get a new one or close your checking account. You did your part of the agreement.

The woman on the telephone was very rude.   She wouldn't identify who she was and why she was calling.  I don't want them calling again.

Called my house looking for the previous owner who never had my phone number.  Obviously they googled the address.  I told them wrong number and they called back 10 minutes later.

This is a law firm of Rihard Boudrau and Associates....trying to collect debts and use scare tactics.....Bunch of jerks

This is a debt collector: Richard J. Boudreau & Associates. This is not a law firm. I made a settlement offer with them and now they continur taking money out of my checking account even though the debt has been paid in full. I cannot reach the at this number or any other number for that matter. I don't now what to do. Can anyone help?

Hey dumbass, Boudreau is a liscensed law office that does litigate accounts that go unpaid. They have in house atty that are licensed in NH,MA, and out source to attys in all 50 states. Do your research before you post your bu***hit online and mislead more people.

Hey, Big boy, if they were a legitimate law firm that knew the law, they wouldn't endlessly harrass people who had nothing to do with the creditor.  They might as well be calling every phone nomber in sequence asking if these people are available to answer the phone for all the due diligence they do.  Who knows, maybe that is what they are doing.

My sister has been getting calls for nearly eight years, not to mention mail, for a person that hasn't lived at the address for a decade, and that never had the same phone number, and that she has returned the mail and complained to the post office, and called all the collection agencies back and repeatedly told them that the person is long gone and she has no idea where they are, and that she never had her phone number and has no idea who she is or where she is, and the next week she gets more calls from another agency or just another set of phone numbers.

For Boudreau to call a number that has repeatedly been told is not associated with the person dozens of times over the past five years is clearly harrassment or clearly an indication that Boudreau has no clue what they are doing and are just blindly calling hoping to find some sucker to extort some money from.

And if they were legitimate, they would not block their caller ID, they would clerly identify themselves, and they would respond professionally, as a lawyer is required by their bar to do.

The lady who spoke with me was very polite, it has nothing to do with me of course, but, she told me they would remove my number as a point of contact. I have never heard of this law firm/collection agency.
