Jelly, it's a scam.  I think Padilla is the ring leader.  If I could get my hands around his throat, I would strangle him.  He's a wanna be bill collector but he's nothing but a bully.  I hope you did not give him any bank information!

I did call the original debtor, and there was NO debt to be found, JEREMY (or whatever name you're going by this week).  You're a bunch of losers that try to scam people out of money they don't owe.  Get a life AND a real job, moron.

Anyone who responds with "pay your bills" is one of the slime balls from the phony collection agencies.  Do not pay these people.  They are scam artists, and quite good at what they do.  If you pay them, shame on you for being so stupid.  If I ever get another call for a bill that isn't or wasn't mine, I'm recording it and going straight to the police on these crooks.  They need to pack their stuff up and relocate to another state other than California.  I'd like to KILL Tony Padilla.  Biggest crook of all.  Phony a** legal processor....give me a break.  LOL LOL  You goofy slime ball!!!

I was called by someone claiming to be a server for PMCW stating that I was being served for a lawsuit for a US Bank checking account overdraft from a year and a half ago.  I didn't know anything about it.  I called PMCW who said they were suing me for a thousands of dollars on a an account I closed in good standing.  I called and wrote my bank, asking to see the original bank statment.  A month later, when I finally saw it, it turns out there was a mixup with my account.  An autopayment was debited to my closed account for a small amount for a bill I already paid off with zero balance  The bank sent it back unpaid but charges me excessive fees.  Then charged it off.  I explained that I never expected an autopayment for a bill that was already paid a month before and that since the bank never paid it, then I don't owe anything.  I was never able to get the bank to verify if PMCW actually represented them on my account.  I changed banks immediately.  My new bank ran a checking account verification and found no negative info about me.  After I complained, PMCW offered me a settlement for $200.  I explained that i don't owe anything, but I believe that they illegally obtained a copy of my credit bureau report under PMG/HGG, a hard inquiry that I'm disputing. No law suit was ever filed either.

You're a scumbag, Jeremy (if that's your real name). You threaten people for something they didn't even do.  Been there, done that.  Get a real job, and leave people alone.  I'm filing a complaint on your so called company right now.  Your little operation needs to be stopped.  And Tony Padilla is a total a***ipe.  Freakin' crook is what he is!

You are also free of any horse sense and the burden of money in your bank you could spend on legitimate billers. No one at a lawbreaking collection agency is working to "help" you toward anything but your own poverty.

The first call I recieved was from my "local sheriffs department" claiming to have papers in which he was to serve me with, unless I called this 1-888-204-7681 and had the papers redirected. He does not want to cause trouble for me at work. I was a little frightened...he would not give me any information, but stated that I only had 1 hour to settle this issue. I called the number, spoke with a very friendly woman named Jordan. She stated that I was being sued and needed to pay $684 on a debt that I paid three years ago. The original debt was for 354, which I have the reciept for, but now the debt has doubled? Still being really nervous (and at work) I asked if I could call her back. I calmed down and started thinking logically and started jotting down questions. I had my partner call and talk to her, and recieved a phone call about ten minutes later. Her voice was a little shakey and she started rambling "I will just have them serve you, I was just trying to help and your partner took his bad day out on me". I spoke gently, calmed her down, and simply asked for verification of the suit filed against me. I wanted this information:
The name of the court that the case was filed in
Judge's name and Attorney who filed the complaint.
I then asked who I could speak with at my local sheriff's department in regards to being served.
Once she relized that I am an educated individual, her tone changed. She was no longer a collection agency, but a legal filing service on behalf of the attorney filing the complaint and she had no access to that information. I responded with "I need verification before this conversation can go any furthur." She said I would recieve an email in 15 minutes, but needed to respond within 24 hours or I would be served. It has been eight hours and still not a single email...or another phone call. Don't let these people take you for a ride, it is a scam and they will get your information any way possible.

Someone who said they were Mike Moore called and left a message saying that I needed to call 1-888-204-7681 right away to discuss a lawsuit being filed against me.  He gave me a  account number.  They said they were attorneys and could settle the debt right away on the phone.  My first clue is that attorneys don't take money on the phone and they do not settle debts for people.

My mother received a call from Tony Padilla at PMCW stating they were looking for me to serve me and would hate to have to put a warrant out for my arrest. She called me freaking out. So I called this joke of a man and at first I was scared and asked what my options were etc. He even had information for en ex-fiance of mine and was threatening to call them as well to collect. He wanted $5800 right now or someone would be at my house by 5pm to serve me. I asked what address he not only came up with one but 2 old addresses of mine but luckily not my current address. Still a little frightened, I asked about settling and he stated ok just give me $1375 today. Then I told him I wasnt agreeing to anything because from what he says this 'unpaid account' was on my credit report, and I know for a fact that everything on my credit report has been cleared in bankruptcy. When I told him to let me call my attorney and ill call him right back to make arrangements, he agreed. I called my attorney they said to not give any information to them, which i didnt thank goodness, and to call them back and start asking questions because they wont have the answers. I called him back and all of a sudden 5 minutes later he was out of the office. Then tried him again today and he told me "im too busy for this". I proceeded to tell him he isnt getting S***! Excuse the language. You have time to harrass my family for money but now you are too busy for it? HA! Nice try suckers!

This company has been calling us for months. We owe no one any monies and we have gotten calls from similar cohorts for the past few years. They always give you a file number and make it sound very threatening. What I find interesting is the "verbiage" of the calls are basically the same with slightly different phone numbers but often times, the "file number" is the same. DO NOT respond to these calls.
A graduate friend of mine from many years ago, evidently pursued them because he actually responded on his cell phone. BIG mistake! This company "blew up" his phone, after he responded! The cell phone charges he incurred, he sued them for. He got a big a** lawyer from Chicago snd sued them. He got a hefty settlement.
My point is, do NOT respond to these calls. They are slimeballs, and while this company's calls may be originating from California now, they started on the east coast. It is pure intimidation. Please tell your older family members not to freak out when they get a call like this. They prey on fear. Just delete the calls.

Well. I got a call from this number 888 2047681
They claimed to be "Lawyers"
I was being sued
Was threatened that I would be sued, served with papers at my work. (They didn't know where I worked)
However, really and truly, they sounded so smooth, so good.
I fell for it. Hook line and sinker! Babaaaam!

I have since called the institution that I owe money to (from long ago)
Made proper arrangements.

This PMCW company is not legitimate. They do not follow through with what they say. For example, I requested a settlement letter. They said they would e-mail one and send hard copy the next day. Just words with no meaning to back them up.

In WANTING to do the right thing. IN believing that I could "trust" this official sounding voice and company...... I was hustled. It's okay now.

I learned. If it's too pretty, watch out, the devil lives in it. If it's too good to be true, it is. I laugh now and am grateful I had enough sense to check out the number and pursue it further.. How was such a good chump!! I was grateful to pay only five times MORE than the debt rather than the 12 times more that was originally requested of me, with a threat of misdemeanor if I did not comply.

HA!

There is much to be said for being too polite. Especially in this day and age. Don't give your hard earned money away. Especially to people who ask for it and are not legitimate.

Tony Tony Tony... Tsk tsk tsk. You'll get yours.

This number called my disabled grandmother and yelled at her. Told her if she didn;t give him my info she would go to jail and that I am being sued. Mind you, I have NO debt and no collections. They call and mispreprest themselves. They use phony names and say they are from a phony company. This "Joseph Jameson" told me we worked for *County I lived in* processors office. Funny, no cush place, and the closest thing I could find does not know a "Joseph Jameson". I have blocked thier calls and if he wants to continue harrassing my grandmother, he will be the one in jail.
