Do not know how they rec'd my info to charge me. Customer service was nice though when requesting a refund

I was charged around $50 by this company. you just have to google the number to realise they are scammers. i haven't signed up to any sites, dodgy or otherwise for many months.

I had the same event; a $74.85 charge on my credit card.  I called my credit card compamny, told them to google pay-athn.com and see the complaints.  they immediately agreed to credit my account and send me a notification within 3-5 business days/

Like wise, I just found out today that my credit card has been charged to a company called payanthn bill for $74.85, which I totally don't recognize. I called their customer service: 888-205-2664, which was given to me by my credit card company, only to speak to a man who first asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card, then the first 6 digits to try to find my account...when he couldn't come up with anything, he asked that I fax over my bank statement to him! yah right! I told him flat out, no, and that I already have my credit card cancelled! where on earth did they get my cc number?!

I had this # on today's bank statement, for a monthly charge to a company called pay-athnbill.com. I never heard of this company and certainly hadn't ordered from them. So I called 888-205-2664 four times trying to get a clear connection. Each time the person's voice would break up badly. I was told the charge was for a company called magna-rx, which I had never heard of. I called magna-rx and was told they had no record of me and that pay-athnbill always directs all callers to them, even though magna-rx is not involved. I did try to Google pay-athnbill, since their name is on my statement as a .com, but only found domain sites coming up. When I called the 888-205-2664 # to speak with a supervisor, I was put on hold for 15 minutes, only to be told the supervisor wanted me to fax my statement over. Yeah, right, I'm going to send this scummy company my account info! So, when you call this number: the connection on their end id BAD; they give you false info; they don't put you through to a supervisor. I still have no idea how this company got my card info (after 4 calls) and ended up stopping my card and filing an affidavit.

We received like 6 or 8 bills to our debit card that actually triggered a fraud watch on my husbands card! I called the number listed on my statement and demanded an explanation and customer service politely told me that they would need to speak to my husband and he was in the shower so the CSA asked me if I was aware that my husband had opened up an account with an adult website and I asked him and he said NO they they quickly refunded the charges. I made him get a new card cause the dumbass used his debit card number to wrack up points for an online game he started playing on MYSPACE!

I did not receive a call from this company but I had to call them. I received charges on my account from this company. There was a 1.00 charge with a POS fee of .03 and an additional charge of 38.99 with a POS fee of .97...... I was very upset when I called customer service and was informed that I would need to provide my credit card number (my entire credit card number) for the representative to "access" the account. I told her that I would be happy to give this information to a supervisor but not to anyone else. I KNEW that I had not authorized these charges and I NEVER order anything online or over the phone. She informed me that the supervisor would not take the call unless I gave this representative my credit card information.

This number appeared as part of a fraudulent charge on my credit card bill.  They gave the name as JETTBILL and said they provide billing services for online companies

This number is jetbill in Florida. They do the billing for all kinds of online websites including educational, porn, it help, etc etc.  A search of the number will show all kinds of results. I doubt they would call you since they are automated billing. The company is also listed under many different names, and the Florida city they are in varies as well.
