I have had at least 2 to 5 calls A DAY from random numbers concerning my diabetes care. I have repeatedly asked them to QUIT calling and take my phone off the call list. THEY DO NOT LISTEN... They keep trying to see if I want them to send me a new meter and I DO NOT. I go to my family doctor regularly and have NO NEED for this.

We do not work for Health Insurance company's, we work WITH them. We make money through suppliers. INSURANCE and SUPPLY COMPANIES are two different things. Your insurance company gives you a diabetic supplier that works with your insurance. We do the exact same thing as a benefit through your health insurance. We give you new suppliers that work with your health insurance so you can receive the most up to date models of meters. Our company is funded by these notable supply companies. And not all meters are free. That would depend on what health insurance you have and how your deductibles and co-payments are.

Doesn't surprise me that the Russian/Israeli bosses that run the Boca boiler rooms tend to stiff their employees.

Letsee ...
Your "ethical company" makes cold, telemarketing calls, and many people have complained (in spite of your denial).
Your "legimate company" does not take money from the patient or from the health insurance company ... and you supposedly do not ask for money.  If that is true, how is your company funded?
You said recipients do not have to accept the supplies ... what "health insurance" offers free supplies?

This is not fraud. This could just simply be a fault in the system or you filled something out online that had diabetic background. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thats not our website. Nothing we're doing is illegal. No where in the phone do we say we're from the "government". I think you're confusing companies.

ALSO anyone we call is not on the no call registry so if you're getting calls you might want to check into that.

Nothing this company is doing is illegal. They are getting patients who could normally not get diabetic supplies through they're insurance or doctor, a diabetic supplier that works with their health insurance. They do not ask for money nor your social. This company does not get paid from the health insurance companies, or patients pockets. And YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT THESE SUPPLIES. No one is forcing you to. Its just a benefit through the health insurance so why would you not.

I.E. I work for this amazing company and I'm currently sitting here with the "nasty" floor manager Matt. If anyone has any questions feel free to give us a call! (Thanks for the number Janett (; )

Here is the scoop. This is their poorly made web site http://diabetes-carenow.net/ this is the numbers I have received calls from. (855)869-0591 and (561) 325-7044.

Criminals who plot to defraud the Government and steal money from the American people have a new target: people with diabetes.

Although the precise method may vary, the scheme generally involves someone pretending to be from the Government, a diabetes association, or even Medicare, calling you. The caller offers "free" diabetic supplies, such as glucose meters, diabetic test strips, or lancets. The caller may also offer other supplies such as heating pads, lift seats, foot orthotics, or joint braces, in exchange for the beneficiaries' Medicare or financial information, or confirmation of this type of personal information. Additionally, you may receive items in the mail that you did not order.

Report the Call to Law Enforcement

Report the call to the OIG Hotline at 1-800-HHS-TIPS or online at http://oig.hhs.gov/fraud/report-fraud/. As part of your report, provide the name of the company that called you, the company's telephone number and address, and a summary of your conversation with the caller.

Non-Compliance Penalties
A consumer who receives a telemarketing call despite being on the registry will be able to file a complaint with the FTC, either online or by calling a toll-free number. Violators could be fined up to $11,000 per incident.

Anyone who violates the rule is subject to civil penalties of up to $11,000 per violation. In addition, violators may be subject to nationwide injunctions that prohibit certain conduct and may be required to pay redress to injured consumers.

you can't call them back. Number on caller ID won't go through. So what is the main # they are calling from?? They are obviously spoofing caller ID's. In order to turn them in, we all need a good # to turn over to the government.

shoot me an email with the answer at my name as it appears in the post, @hotmail.com

Stop calling I don't want or need your services.  I live on fixed income. Leave me alone and discontinue the calls that interrupt my daily life, I care for my infant grandchild.

They keep calling me, once they tricked me into gathering information, such as dr. name, type of testing equipment I use, but when they started asking me for my insurance information, I started asking questions because they should have had all that already.  I asked to be taken off the calling list, but they continually call, a couple times each day, and now they get snotty when I tell them I don't want there service and to take my name off their list.

I received a call like this one with a different number, I'm still waiting for the meter.  So right now I think they are scamming the insurance companies.  I'm going to check with my insurance company to see if they were charged for the meter that I haven't received yet,

Mannnn I went through the same thing, I worked there as well, & Matt the floor manager is very nasty, the agents wld actually get deals, & they wld say the deals were jammed just so they cld have extra money in their pockets & us (the agents) wld have a numerous shortage amount on our checks... To everyone, do not! Work for this company, you (the agent) puts in all of your hard work to get the diabetic patients their testing meters, & the takes most of your paycheck... I wld never work for them again & I will not be reccommending anyone else to work their as well... The state needs to gey involved in this mess & have them shut down!

I received a call from someone who could not speak very good or clearly. He was very persistent with trying to obtain my insurance information. He also knew my home address and assured me that no one was going to come and try to enter my home but only to deliver a glucose machine that I did not order and he was unable to tell me who ordered one for me. I hung up on him after he seemed not interested in answering my questionb and kept saying I just need your insurance carrier... BTW he did tell me he was calling from Florida when I asked and idiotically said yes Virginia when I reminded him that the number he was calling from was a Virginia number. He said he was calling from Diabetes Care Now.

I have gotten frequent calls from this number.  Today I actually spoke with a person and told them that my insurance is NOT providing any free diabetic care equipment or supplies through their company, and asked them not to call back.  But it was a bit unnerving to realize they had so much information about me.

I have received 2 calls today from the same organization, Diabetes Care Now but the # was 814-201-7619.  Told me the same story of wanting to send out a new meter and strips,  then she wanted me insurance info....I told her she was calling me and if she was really trying to help me she would already have the info.  She said she did but wasn't allowed by law to tell me any info she had about me although she already had my name and address.  When I asked again what insurance info she had, she repeated again she could not tell me anything she had that I had to confirm everything for her.  I told her that I would help her with that by hanging up on her.  I did call the # back and went to the option to remove me from their list, so I guess time will tell if that works.

I got a call today from this place -- the person said they were sending me out a new test meter and strips.  I asked who they were and she said Diabetes Care Now.  I am not a diabetic!!!  I was incensed that these people are scamming diabetetics to get their business.  THIS IS TOTALLY UNETHICAL AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.  I am approaching 62 and so I worry that these people could be defrauding medicare also.
