Just got the exact same card in the mail today - and with the exact same 7288 RSVP Code in the top left corner.  Was wondering if this is a scam and found extremely similar sounding deals that all turned out to be scams.  I called the number and set up a time to go meet them this Saturday, but after doing some online research, I don't think I'll be able to make that meeting after all.

"Too good to be true" is usually true, and how the other scams worked is that people could claim their "free prize" by paying some amount of money as a "deposit" (no word on whether it was refundable or not) and in another instance, the couple had to pay a "processing fee" to receive the reward.

In short, I called and asked the guy outright if the prize was really free and if there was any obligation.  He said, and I quote, "If you sit through the presentation and decide "Thanks but no thanks", you can still collect the prize afterward.  It's our thank you for your time and allowing us the opportunity to show you what we have to offer."  It's some kind of vacation program that says you can book travel at great discounts.

You also have to give 60-90 days of advance notice of when you want to travel, and you have to redeem the prize within 1 year.  At first, my wife and I were like, "It could be worth it.  Even if we had to pay taxes and fees, we'd still have to pay those anyways if we went somewhere."  But after researching these kinds of things online, I'm saying "Thanks but no thanks" right now, and saving myself the time.

My advice, you do the same.  If you really want a deal on a vacation, use a good and trustworthy travel agent, or just do your own research on deals.  That is time going to be well spent.

We received a post card from them.with instructions to call that number. The card had an "RSVP" code number (7288) and the corporate logos of Priceline, Alamo, Chevron, a mention of US Airways, Hilton, Marriott and a photo of a generic passenger jet on the front. Fine print instructions in one corner of the card say, "Certain restrictions apply. Taxes & registration fees and/or processing fees are the responsibility of the recipient. This promotion not sponsored by US Airways, Marriott, Hilton, Chevron, Priceline.com, or Alamo. Not applicable to Alaska of Hawaii."

The key word there is "promotion". This is not a contest or sweepstakes where you are a winner. You are not getting anything for free. You will be asked to pay those fees and taxes.

The card has a West palm Beach, FL postmark.

Received a post card offering free airfare travel. This number is listed. Doing research, seems to be a scam.
