I think this is a HOAX! Was sent a xeroxed letterhead referencing a "charged-off" account number and to call this same numer. I've NEVER had a Visa platinum credit card to even be charged off!!!!!!!! Called the number back and it said it was closed BUT the tape said the office hours were open to to 9:30PM Eastern on Mon-Thur (I called at 6:50 Central/7:50 Eastern on a Monday)....why closed? HOAX, HOAX, HOAX!!!! Letter "looks" formal but no institution would reference a FULL account number in a letter!

Thanks for the info on that...I had never heard of this bank until reading your post. Apparently someone gave them a 'wrong' number and it turned out to be my number. Maybe I'll answer it next time and tell them to take my number off the account.

Got a call from this numnber 2nd day in a row. Its a lady saying its urgent I call today. Very suspicious.
