Sounded to good to be true and the person kept calling to make sure we would be there at the meeting. I decided to did a little deeper on the internet and found all this info. Thanks! The most tell all on the confirmation email is you had to have a credit card not a bank card. What is the difference? More money to scam from you? Creeps

I received the "American Airlines" postcard in today's mail. They try very hard to make it look legit. Figured it's a scam, so googled the toll free numer 888-211-0378. I love the Internet. Your posts saved me loads of time.

Got the scam postcard with AA logo on it just like some of you,thank you google what did we do before you.The permit no.2736 shows that it is from a Las Vegas postal customer.

My husband got this post card today. I worked for AA for 24 years and I never saw or heard of anything like this SPECIAL OFFER!!!!! My husband's comment right off was....another scam!!!!!

Just got same card from "Delta". Called them and it just seemed very fishy, the guy did not sound like a professional answering service. He started asking me questions about age, gender, income, etc....I ended conversation after 3rd question and then googled the number I dialed :) - scam

This is a travel agency or similar. Will probably say that you've won a free trip for two, but then want to collect personal infomation or require you to sign up for a paid subscription or membership. I got a postcard saying I'd won a free trip, and to call this number. Known scam. Beware.

I got one from Delta but it doesnt Delta Airlines, the symbol is wrong and the plane picture is very careful to not have Delta on it. Obvious scam.

To "I Wonder" if you go to American Airlines webpage you will see a category under News & Offers, it says "New Phishing Email Alert" and guess what....when you click on that they have a list of scams and one of them...you will never guess this....is a postcard and when you click on that there is a pretty picture of the postcard that we have all received!!

Received post card saying it was from American Airlines for free round trip tickets, Yadda Yadda Yadda. The phone number to call is 888 211-0378.
It's a scam as they are looking to get credit card and personal info from you!
