I have received phone calls everyday on my new cell from this number and another one but they both leave the same voicemail. They claim to have important business for a M****** J*** B***** (figured I'd better not put the whole name) Problem is I'm not this person they are looking for nor do I know anyone with that last name! Its always an automated message so I can't tell them and I'm not running up my bill to call them back.

they just called me this morning. left a message saying "I have a message for some personal business for ..." That didn't sound right and so I looked up the number and it landed me here. Scam is what I say

This phone number is constantly calling me and will not leave a message.  I am getting ready to contact an attorney if it doesn't stop.  VERY IRRITATING!

Called me at 8am after I received certified confirmation that they received my written request to stop contacting me for a debt I have proven to them 3 times that I already paid to the hospital. That's 2 violations right there. Waking me up on my only day off for the next 2 weeks should be a crime in itself.

Call leave no message. Three to five times a day the only debt I have is to UPMC in Pittsburgh and am settling with them on Wednesday

I just got a phone call from this Medicredit company asking me to verify my name, address and last four digits of my social.  They sounded like a fraud so I asked the lady what that was about and she said she couldn't reveal anything to me until I verified all of the above.  I told her that she sounded like a fraud and that I would never give her any information over the phone.  She said that she will send a letter to me by post.  After she said something about my credit, I told her that I don't owe anybody anything.  She was so aggressive and offensive!  Be careful, DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFO OUT.

So I had to block that phone number.

Frequent robo-caller asking to speak with a minor child who lives with a temporary guardian.

I have gotten calls from this number every workday for the last week and a half.  I didn't answer because I was at work, and they didn't leave a message.  I'm home today due to bad weather, so I answered when they called.  When I told them that I wasn't the Juanita person they were calling about nor did I know her, the woman replied, "Interesting."  When I told her that she was the fourth number to call me looking for this woman, she started getting snippy with me.  I just hung up.  Life is too short to deal with jerks

Yep, did the same to me.  I told them I wouldn't give them anything until they told me exactly who it was that they claimed I owed money to.

For Over A Month, I've Been Receiving Debt Collection Phone Calls.
I Always Cancelled The Calls.They First Called From 800 560 6169, Later Calling From 888 213 9588.All Voicemails Claim To Be Calling Ricky Donald Thompson.
I Have Also Received Text In The Voicemail Notification.

They call and ask for all personal information but would not verify why they are calling.  When asked to speak to supervisor, call was ended.  SCAM......

hospital bills  I never got billed for   he said there were  7 small amount bills, i would have pd this if I got them.

Its all taking care of now.    

I have received several calls for a diff. person from this #.  I have told them they have the wrong #.  Would love to call them and harass them at dinner time!!!  I actually had one of these folks ask me for information about a neighbor!!  They will stop at nothing and really do not care if they violate the do not call list or they are calling a  wrong #.  Would love to be part of a class action suit against them!!!

You have several fdcpa violations against them, first they have not sent you a collection letter within the first 5 days after the initial phone call. A claim for not providing you the right to debt validation.

TCPA claims for calling you cell phone without your express consent. 500 bucks per call, trebel damages if you can prove negligence.

My answer to them would start with a summons."

They just called me and asked for my social and I refused before they explained their reason. He said he needed my personal info to verify that it is me by law before telling me reason he is collecting. I refused and was hung up on!

Spartan Financial - I guess they've hired enough people, at minimum wage, to make these calls because they call day and night.  All they get, is my fax #.  If they REALLY want to be aggressive, they ought to send a fax!!  Btw, my paper shredder is nearby too.

They call daily...I guess to say "good morning!"...but all they get is my fax machine.  I'd be surprised if they actually sent a fax!  Nothing but scammers!

This is Medicredit debt collection company.  They keep calling my wife and myself about twice daily even after we have spoken to them.  We are double covered and don't owe anything!! This company is terrible and they DO NOT enter notes in their system as to when and who they speak to.  I have also heard DO NOT give them any payment information to deal directly with the medical provider or billing service.

Same here. New cell phone number. They keep calling and hanging up.

I received a postcard in my mailbox stating I won two tickets to anywhere in the US via Delta Airlines . It provides 888-213-9366. I knew immediately it was a scam. I'm going to forward this to Delta Airlines. I pay all of my bills, so if there is a medical bill that I don't know about, they need to mail it to me.

Funny, I have NO hospital invoices, bills, whatever outstanding.  Haven't had an invoice since 1989 when my son was born.  So I would be very leary about a place called Medicredit asking for any information of any sort whatsoever.  There are a whole lot of scams out there, and this place seems to be one of the leaders.  Be very careful.

Now he says MediCredit - whatever the heck that is.
