got note in very official looking envelope. says to go online to www.whitehouse.gov/blog/a-new era-for-credit-cards. Everything works til I get to '/a-new-era...',Then the body of the page is blank.
Unfortunately, the very official letter came from 611 Pennsylvania Ave, WASHINGTON DC. According to Google, this is an address for a UPS store.
So, I suspect this is not on the level.

As an aside, we (EJS Services) have contacted the BBB of Chicago several times and have had no luck getting that little blurb changed, even mailed in kits with all of our information to them...

Its all a scam. just go to the Goverments site and it tells you there is no such thing. I was almost fooled as well. If it sounds to good to be true...... it probably is!

Yes, EJS Services is a legit debt negotiation company (www.ejsservices.com), but that's not to say these mailings are legit! I personally would not use them based on this BBB posting (http://www.bbb.org/chicago/business-reviews/d ... ago-il-88361900) and this quote from that page, "The BBB has requested basic information from this company. The BBB has not received a response." ...up to you, but there is plenty of other help out there that you might not have as many question marks about. Hope this helps!

i got a letter from this same group "National Council for Consumer Debt Relief" and supposed to have a call back from them this morning. BUT the phone number I got to contact them was different --- 888-427-6218.
so i guess they aren't legit?

Is this or real or a scam? Same as above- EJS approved admin for National debt relief program.
