they call me everyday from this number   they identify themselves as "officer" they are foreign,  have heavy accent  they threaten me and my social security number.  no answer when I call back

this number has been calling our office all day, we reported to Sherrif Office and they recommended we have our IT guy block the number internally through our phone system.  We did that, but the calls came from another number,  we were able to discern that the caller is from India.  Obviously a very persistant scammer.  dont be fooled, dont give out personal information, we haven't gotten much done today at work.

I have been receiving calls for about a month...what a scam!!!!  This morning I received a call at work from Ben Johnson but "Ben" sure has a heavy accent.  I researched the phone number that he left on my voice mail this morning and it has linked me to this site.  I want these calls to stop...this is frustrating that these people are trying to scam hard working Americans.  Last month, I received a call from the local police departments dispatch number and again it was a man with a heavy accent.  I called the police department back and they did not have anyone by that name there, nor would they be calling about a debt (which I already knew) but I wanted them to be aware that someone is tapping into their phone lines.  How scary is that?!?  I have asked multiple times for copies of documentation but I am always told that can't be provide to me.  These people need to be stopped!!!!!

We just got a call from this number, knew it was a scam...these callers can't even talk clearly, which is what they want to do.  Had this had at work awhile back, looking for a co-worker and we researched and found that it was scam months ago....they just keep trying..STUPID SOB.....

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Got a call from this number with some lady, indian or some type of accent like that, left message have my attorney or myself call back, that I am in  alot of trouble and if I don't like a real snearing type ...then best of luck the federal agents are coming to get you.Definitely sounds like a scam.

I'm calling the Attorney General's office to see who these people are. This isn't right.

They have been calling my cell phone and my office phone that criminal charges are being filed against me for defaulting on a payday loan.  They had my name, SSN, the name of my place of work and the name of my bank.  Said I needed to pay $711.00 or they will come pick me up at my home or place of work.  At first they said they were from the Bureau of Criminal Affairs for the State of New Jersey, but then said they represent CashNet payday loan corporation which has hundreds of payday loan companies under them.  I asked which company do I have the loan with and for what amount and they said USA advance or something like that and it was for $300, which I don't have any such loan and certainly did not default on any loan.  I just hung up on them and they've been calling me several times on my job phone and cell phone ever since.

I was called twice on my cell phone and when I didn't answer they called my job.  Told me that he was with the Attorney Generals office and I was being sued for a Payday Advance Loan that I never got.  He put me on hold and put me through to a prosecuting investigator, this man got on the phone and told me that I was being sued for a Payday loan that I aquired, I told him the same thing that I have never got a payday loan he then hung up on me.  He claimed his name was Howard Jones.

They have my info and I dont know where they got it from.
I have called several times they keep hanging up everytime I call.
I have reported them to the Attorney Generals Office.
Please do the same.

They called me said I needed to call them back or have my lawyer call them

I called back and they said they were suing me for a loan I knew nothing off and provided me no details. Said they were from a legal department..said they called my employer and neighbors asking about me.,

i told the guy if he called my employer he would have talk to me,since I am self employed, and that the employer he had listed wasnt mine. he hung up,I called back and he said he was mad I was lying,and he was suing me.I laughed and he hung up. I called back got a voicemail, told him I was reporting his number to the police bbb and who ever

Got a call again from this lady, Sandra Moore, heavy foreign accent, making statements that I need to give them more information or else someone will be at my door.

Called at me work threatened me, then hung up when I asked questions.

If she calls again, tell her there is a Federal Officer there, but he is looking for her!!!

This lady kept calling over and over,saying her name was "Sandra Moore" and she couldnt even speak English....saying a Federal officer would be at our door in a moment if we did not talk to them, etc....phone keeps ringing over and over.

I got a call to.they new my social security number& my place of employment.said I owed for a loan.and a warrant. Would be issued if I didn't western union 500$ I don't owe that.It scary.I filed a identity theft report.I just want it to stop.

This foreign guy called me from this number on my cell phone and has called several times at my home and when my fiance finally answered he told him that by tomorrow morning there will be someone showing up at my house to arrest me and if he was to interfer than he would be arrested too. I have already contacted my sheriff department here and he told me that it is a scam...

I got a call from a guy who sounds like he is from over seas. He said I owed a loan to United Cash something then asked if the last four of social was ****. When I said no that isnt me he said F*** you your a liar and hung up. When I called the number back they woulnt answer me.

Man with a very heavy accent claiming to be from the Federal Justice Department claiming that my name and social security number has been reported to them and they are coming for me in black and whites and my employer will be notified.   SCAM  do not respond if you get a similar call.
