They call here 3 to 6 times a day. I have never done business with them and actually never heard of them till last week when the calls started. They claim to be trying to collect a debit and are asking for ss numbers and dob. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Santander does business with buy - here - pay -here used car lots. These car salesman will use the names and phone numbers of anyone, as references on other customers finance applications.
I received a call from this number numerous time. It is a mechanically managed call. Next time you
get this call pick it up but do not respond verbally. Instead hit the # on your phone 6 or more times
in quick succession. This will cause much confusion with the system on the other end
and it will then kick your number out of their system. You may need to do this a few times
but soon it will stop calling you.
I keep getting calls for Gary Cable on my cell phone, 808-315-3018. Maybe he had this phone number before me, but this is not his phone. YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. Every time you call me it costs me money. PLEASE STOP CALLING.

Here we go again. This time said I was given as a reference for a couple who I do not know. They called before re: The Fresno Bee, knowing my name. Today, another reason to call.
Actually I have a car loan through Santander Bank and this is the number they call me from. So it may not be under Drive Financial.
My house gets a phone call from this number at least 4-5 times a day. I picked it up once and just like others no one was saying a word. Now we don't have a loan with this people they need to check their records before anything. I myself can not be a debt collector that's just another word for nagging!
Not putting up with them
I received a call from them. They were asking for someone I know, but don't speak with very often. I didn't even know this person I used my name on their loan app. Regardless, they violated the law (Fair Debt Collections Act) when they disclosed the debt to me. I asked to be removed and told them I was reporting them to the FTC and my State Attorney General. I just completed both complaints online. Companies like this are no better than loan sharks and should be reported to your State AG and also the FTC. Also, right to your US and State Congressional Reps and Senators. More regulation is needed.
I don't know who it is that is calling. I have it set as a blocked number. They called numerous times I assumed and on the last try they left a message. Some woman named Felicia (if that is her real name) leaving this number to call her back. When I dial the number it is a freaking automated system asking to enter your account number or SSN. Yeah, right. Sounds like a hangup to me. I don't have an account with them, and I'm sure not entering my SSN. I'm sure "Felicia" will get the message later. Send it in the mail, whatever it is!!!
I've set up 4 times now to have auto pay with Santander. Each month it is set up and when it comes time for them to take the money it's all of a sudden not set up and they want to charge me $10.99 to Western Union the money to them. I am trying to get my loan out of their hands as they are nothing but a rip off.

I keep getting a message from this company in Spanish, and I do not speak or want to speak Spanish....if this company does not stop calling me, I will file a complaint immediately. I thought this was an English speaking country.
You should get your facts straight before making comments like "...the sure fire way of eliminating collection calls is to pay your bills on time..."
They are calling my Tracfone 8 times a day, and once in a blue moon they leave a message for Susan.

I have no way to get them to stop calling. It's no wonder people hate collection agencies. They are harassing jerks.
These people call me early in the morning and late at night and no one ever answers. I have had to block them on my phone. very annoying !
Couldn't understand asked for private info
I have been calls from this phone number for almost a month. Today they finally left a message. It's Santander Consumer and they are an auto financial service. I thought it was someone cold calling to sell something, but apparently someone used my phone number to make a car loan. Either that or someone had this number before me.
I have no idea why I keep getting calls, I have never had contact with the company before...

I just filed an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I am actually going to sue them. They have been calling me for 8 months and it totaled in 500 calls and I have told them so many times that this is not the persons number you are looking for any more. I said "do I sound like a Mrs Gomez to ^%$hole??
My advice is to call the BBB and file a harrasment complaint with the local court. I am ...i've had it!
Actually, Santander's warranties are pretty cheap for a bumper to bumper warranty. Why wouldn't I get one? It covers everything on a used car whose factory warranty is now gone. Only added $4/month to my payment. Are you saying the warranty is bunk? Cuz I can't imagine they'd be able to get out of paying for something that went wrong with the car after I signed a warranty contract with them.
We bought new truck from Dodge Dealer in Lawrenceville. The first payment was to be due on the 10th of each month. The loan was through 5/3 bank then sold to these people before the first payment is due. By the 5th of the month they started calling. Did not leave message just a first name and number to call. When I called the system wanted me to enter my ssn/account number. I don't have account number yet I have not received payment book or billed for payment yet.
Please do not call my cell phone of my work phone.
