Got a call from 888-223-0644...raising funds for Vets.  Told her I already give to several charities and that I was under the impression all phone charities are a scam and asked her to kindly remove my number.  She was VERY nice...that is, until she hung up on me for asking to have my number removed.

I received a call from from 888-223-0644 shortly after a call from 888-296-8089 which abruptly hung up on me (thankfully)as soon as I said I was not making any donations at this time. Both calls where from a veterans association, the second caller would not take NO for an answer. There are too many calls coming in using the name Veterans as part of there speal. Don't know which ones are real anymore, it is too confusing to keep up with who called and when therefore I will be saying NO from now on.

Doesn't talk when you answer if you don't say anything.  Calls over and over.

Stop Calling Me

This number calls and says it is collecting for vietnam vets. Thank you for you support from last year. I know my husband made a donation, but it has only been a few months. Iknew it was a mistake to donate as we would now be barraged with calls. How to I get my name off the list?

18882230644.  Calls in early AM and when you just get home from work.  Yells, "Hello, Hello, Who's this. Is this NAME?" I just hang up and now have decided to block them!

They call every day, sometimes more than once.  It goes to our machine as I will not pick up.  As soon as they hear the message or before they end the call.  I had an instance with one of them a while back and he was very nasty.  I will not give to their organization anymore.  He ruined it for them.

has called 4 times today starting at 9:10Am calling form the number 866-311-6163, then after I kept tracing the number abd told them that it was being traced, they called from another number 888-223-0644.  I picked up and hung up and traced the number again.

These people are really crazy.  they obviously hav enothing better to do with their lives.

Called 3x today.  I answered the 3rd time and a man named John was looking for my husband. I asked if I could take a message and he said no. I asked if there was something wrong because this number has called my house 3xs today and he when into it is a charity number that is shared by different charties. I asked to be taken off the list and was told he could take me off his list only and that I would no longer be able to help my community.
These scams need to be stopped.

Several calls today.  Refused invitation to leave voice mail.

called at 10:12, asked for my husband by name (which is not listed in phone book).  Told him my husband was busy at the moment, could I help him.  Silence and that was the end of the call.

Keeps calling my home at all hours of the day and night as well as weekends. 888-223-0644

they called me at 9:15 AM 3/3/08.  I answered and only heard my own voice echo hello.

They called at 8:38PM. I picked up on the fourth ring.  There was silence.  I repeatedly asked who was calling.  A recording of a male voice said "Thank you for your patience."  Then it became a "live" line, I could hear people in the background.  I asked who it is.  I could hear a female voice in the background.  They hung up, and I *69ed the number.

Received a call from them. during dinnertime.  Asked them to stop called me and they laughed.

I answered my phone at 8:20pm.  I had to say "HELLO!" twice over the LOUD music in the background.  He called me by name and stated he was John calling for the Vietnam Vets.  I told him we were not interested.  We have received similar calls for other groups.  I expect this too, is a scam.
