Received several calls, hangups & I don't even have any business at all with Capital One.

Just started 2 days ago, and already many calls. We don't even have an account with them, they hang up on you, and leave no message.

Caller is Capitol One credit card collections.

They called me yesterday (on my cell phone) looking for my ex husband, who has not been reachable at the number they called in OVER 5 years.

I get calls several times a day, but no message is left.  Like eveyon on this page, I owe Capital One lots of $$$ because I lost my job back in September.  It's funny to see all the people on here in "denial" and making excuses.  Believe me, they would not just call to say you owe them if you did not owe them LOL!!!

I get calls at least once a day from these people for somebody who is not at this number. I have explained they have the wrong number and they keep saying they will continue to call until I can track down a correct number for the person they are calling.  How is that possibly legal?

These people call several times a week asking for my step son and where they can reach him (he does not live here).  I have insisted no less than 7 times they take my name off their list, and told them I am on a do not call list.  One "gentleman" actually told me they don't have to remove my number and they can do whatever they want.  I am boiling over this.  What's the point of a do not call list if a company can blatantly and consistanly violate it.

GC does not stand for general collections it stood fore gulf coast at one point in time but now its just GC Services and i work there. Yes here in the United states. My site follows the fdcpa if not you are fired instantly so sorry for you guys incounters with the GC's that are not up to par.

I have received calls from them 3 times already today and they don't leave a message..I have no idea who it is.

repeatedly we get phone calls very annoying and we are police officers and have requested our number be unlisted. This is harassment.

I called them back and someone had given them my phone number when the applied for a credit card and now that person has not paid the bill and they are trying to get in touch with that person. When I asked them to remove my number they where very helpfull.

I will sue Capital One Financial for $7,500 in California Small Claims Court. This is GC Services (of Houston, TX) calling on behalf of Capital One Financial. I will write a demand letter for $7,500 to Richard D. Fairbank in McLean, Virginia for violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

It is definitely Captiol One; I called them back and told them to put my number on their do not call list.  I suggest you do the same
