I am on the do not call list and have been since we were allowed to stop them. I resent all the nonsense calls that come. Today was from the number listed above.

Recorded message to here in Canada, and the B***H said I have been pre-selected for a Bahamas vacation, and to press 9 to continue the process. Yeah, as if, you stupid F**K. So, called it back that I could say those words, but just a high pitch squelch, and hung-up. Wow, I changed my mind and wanted that vacation, lol, such is my life! Sux to be me! LOL

They called me today.  Thank God for caller id.

They called me today in Texas from "Card Services" and asked me to press 9 to lower my interest rates on my cards. He confirmed my name but then asked me the expiration date on my credit card. I said I can't give you that right now I'm busy. I don't have it with me. I felt a little strange anyway. I wasn't going to do it. I told him to call me back in a day. I won't be around to take that call again. I'm glad I looked up the number. What a scam.

A recording for lowering my interest rate.. waited to hear all the b.s. and pressed 9 at the end.. some "a.h." named stan answered and when i started to tell "a.h." stan to take my number off their list, the "a.h." stan abruptly hung up..

Call ID is "Bell South".  I have a call blocker so I did not get more than one ring.  No idea who this really is, but Bell South will take the heat.

I receive a call from this number at least once a week.  I am confused by Waveho's comment that the caller was clearly "African American".  When I have opted to speak with an operator to ask that my number be removed from their call list, the person clearly sounded "White".  What does it matter their race when all we want is for them to stop calling?

Simultaneous calls from this number were made to our house number and fax.  Recorded message was from "Card Services," and to lower my "interest rate" to press 9.  I pressed 9 to find out what the call was about, as I'm on the no-call list.  I was connected to a person, sounded very "African American," who said "I understand you want to lower your interest rate."  I said "No, I want to know who you are; I am on the no-call list."  He made a "pig noise" and said, "Don't you know the no-call list is an urban legend?"  Flabbergasted, all I could say was "What?"  He said, "You heard me."  Then slammed the phone down.  PLEASE stop this harassment!!

I hate to be hung up on without a word. I'm sure the blood sucking sycophants that man these phonelines are trained not to waste time on "hard marks". I love this site, I just signed up for the donotcall list. It was easy. I hope it's not some scam.

My vmail box is frequently spammed with prerecorded messages. this one time, i happened to answer, & pressed 9 to ask them to take me off their list.  When I asked for her assurance that I was remvoed from her list, and wanted to speak with her superior, she hung up on me.  ...sounds like a scam.

Got a call this morning. I was ready for them, and said "I'm going to find you, and then I'm going to kill you." The caller stuttered then hung up. HA!

This number just called me, said I won a trip to the Bahamas and to get more information to press 9 (was a recorded message to this point).

So, I pressed 9, got some woman on the line who wanted my name so I replied, "Hi, I want to be taken off your call list" What do I get in reply?
"Stop pressing 9 then you f--ing b--ch!" Nice customer service eh?

How else are you supposed to tell them to stop calling you if you're not talking to an actual person when the call starts?

I received a call from 407-999-9999.  The automated voice stated this was the last chance to lower the APR on my credit card.  I was prompted to press "9".  I did and was immediately disconnected.

I picked up the phone to read Caller ID. It was 1-407-999=9999. I pressed "talk" and I never said a word but a voice congratulated me on winning a trip to Florida. so I hung up.  Beware of those guys.

Recording about having my Credit Card APR lowered. Woman's voice said I should press a number on the keypad to speak to someone. I hung up, as this sounded like a scam.

got a call at 6:39AM did I mention 639 aFREAKINm from this stupid place.  i didn't make it to the phone in time to catch the call befor it went to my answering machine, but it woke me up after a damn hard night's work for BU***HIT!!! if i ever come face to face with these c*ck Suckers i'l tear a strip off them thats for damn sure argh!!!!

being from orlando i know the 407 area code. looked it up it was listed as Bell South and on the street where they are located. but not in their building was down the street.  and how ironic i retired from that company. BAD  and of course if you call it back it eithor busy or has been disconnected. probably cc interest rate.

I have received countless calls from phony numbers, including this one, since staying in Cancun(my 4th and last time) last year. The calls started shortly after I returned. They are being made by Russian-Armenian mobsters. The hotel I stayed in was full of them(probably owned by them, as well). I actually left early because I didn't feel safe staying there. I made the mistake of telling a local taxi driver how dangerous the place was a few hours before I left. He apparantly informed them, because some of them followed me through the airport and on the plane home. I told this to a TSA supervisor and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I even gave her a description of them and what they were wearing, just incredulous looks. I mailed the FBI and SBI about my ordeal(too many details for here) in Cancun and my return. These people followed me off and on for the first several months after returning. I live in a rural area where you know darn well when someone's following you! A relative thought I was losing it until something happened that convinced them that I had been correct in my suspicions. Now, I assume every time I leave the house I may see one.

These calls are probably originating in Mexico, or Russia, but most probably outside the US. They can be about credit cards, vacations, sweepstakes, etc. They are being orchestrated by the Russian/Armenian mob, modern day pick-pockets.
If you've stayed in the Carribbean, then you can bet that's where they got your number.

Got this message for 'reducing my interest rate".  As they keep calling I have gotten a bit sick of this.  So this time I chose to have some fun.  I got a Female and when she asked for my crdit card # I asked her if she could "teabag my b*lls".  Got the click after that.

Probably will not stop them but was a bit amusing....

Caller started talking to answer machine something about there's currently no problem with your credit card account......I pickd phone up & hung it up.

likewise   the do not call is a joke   i still get these calls  but guess what  my police whistle lays right beside my phone  hahaha on them

I even called the FBI and got the run around.  I thought this is fraudlent also and i should report it, but I do not know to whom.

I got a call that came up on Caller ID as Bell South  from 1-407-999-9999 with a recording offering to lower the interest on my credit card to 6 +/- % if I would press 9 on my phone.  I hung up immediately called FBI, ATT, and was given such a run around that I just came in and got on the computer, and found this site. Who do I report this to now?
