They called me. I have no idea what for  but its always a prerecorded message to press 1  or press 2  I have no idea why u r calling me I  do want u to stop because the person ur calling me  for  the phone # does not belong to  the person your calling for.  Leave me alone or I will contact the FCC.  I'm tired of this nonsense. .

Gave a name that is not mine - looking for collections . . .National Recovery (something can't make out caller sounds like she has marbles in her mouth).  I am on a DO NOT CALL list and do not have any issues.

They called me several times about people I've never heard of!

This is one of many calls from debt collectors who call my cell phone looking for a Cruz Acevedo - obviously a Hispanic male - when I am a Caucasian female who had never heard of this man. I no longer answer my cell if I don't see a caller ID I know. Most of these people don't leave a message - when they do, I phone them back to tell them they have the wrong number. They never contact me at my listed home phone/address, so it is obvious that they are not after me.

By filing a complaint with a state bar association against one, who accused me of lying about not knowing Cruz and continued to phone my cell, I saw the debt collector's response and learned that they purchased this number as a possible contact for Cruz from Lexis/Nexis, based in Atlanta. I phoned Lexis/Nexis, talked to 3 different people, and offered to send them a copy of my Verizon contract showing that I've had this cell number for 10+ years - they refuse to stop giving it out. They tell me that I must correct information "at source" but refuse to tell me their source. THEY are the ones we should go after!

I got a voice message on my cell phone, telling me he was trying to reach my daughter and couldn't leave her a voice message, apparently she listed me as a contact person, asked me to have her call him back.  My daughter NEVER lists me as a contact person, nor does she give out my cell phone number.

I received a call from this company. I was given a case number, and a county where i was told a case judgment had been filed on me. When I checked CaseNet in my state, no such case existed. The use of "pre-legal" sounded like code words for a foggy collection company who has no rights to collect on the fictitious court ruling, and pretend that they can save you from the wrath of the court. This is a call I will ignore.

the 1-888-234-6316 is a debt collection company somehow they got my name start calling and leaving message on my answering machine regarding my counsin we do not live at my residence. i informed that they have the wrong number please stop calling for this person it's very annoying. All consumer should be aware we do have the power to stop these illegal tactic of these companies.They think that if i can't reach the person i'll just harasses  family,friends and neighbors regarding a old bill to embarrasse the person. The advice that i want to give to all consumers contact the federal trade commission file a complaint against the company  to cease all communication give them the name/number if possible to the company. I have repeating ask these folks to send me a written beark down of what they say I owe.  I have yet to receive anything.  Also, every thuing I mention my attorney, they tell me I do not want to do that.  These people are just big ol' bullys with nothing else to do.

I don't know who these people are! They are blowing up my cell phone, and I just received a call from them at my place of employment, I don't know how they found out what my work number is. I want it to stop it is ridiculous.

This NRC called me around seven regarding a debt of someone I do not even know. Ever since I have gotten my phone which is a cell phone through Sprint, I have had debt collectors call me wanting to know if I know anyone by the name of Adrian Burge ( the man who called me spelled it out ) I have told debt collector after debt collector asking about this person and I have absolutely no idea who it is. The man that called me was name Michael Marb I think he called around 7:42 PM and he also claimed he had sensitive info about this Burge's account...

They are a debt collector.  Their employees are rude, threatening and out of line with their comments. I will probably end up reporting them for violating regulations.

My boss received a call which is unacceptable!!  I'm not sure who is calling because I can't make out a company name but they do not need to call my boss!

yes he is. i spoke with someone by that name who was incredibly rude after my unwillingness to say if they have my correct SSN.  i prefer to protect myself against good identity thieves and SSN should not be a method of cold call ID.  he accused me of trying to hide from responsibility, told me to quit wasting his time on his toll free line, and some other unpleasant things.  apparently trying to be reasonable is unacceptable to these people.

What gets me is these number are NEVER listed on whitepages.com. What do they have to hide, if they are a legitimate business?

Played message 3 times as I had no idea who he was or what he wnated.  Message was a bit threatening....DEMANDING that I call back before 5pm ET and leaving a telephone number, ext. number and "case number".

Nuisance caller.

I keep getting messages from this number for a legal matter of a person I've never even heard of-they obviously have the wrong number. Is there a way I can get them to stop calling me without talking to them? I don't want to call back because I have a sinking feeling it could be a scam of some sort.

NRC is a bill collection company.gary hall ext 2199 is the rudest, uglest talking person I have ever talked to in my life.
