Got robo-call from 786-358-9772 on 10-31-12 @1146PM right after this one =
"(got robo call from 619-757-4018 message from Card Member Services on 10-31-12 @ 1139AM. This was the normal message intro about lowering interest and to press 1 to talk to a represntative. So I pressed '1' and then got disconnected. DARN was already to give them my Raunchy British Diddy) when at 1146 AM Rachel calls and gives the normal Credit Card Interest SCAM info from 786-358-9772". Press 1 to talk to rep or 3 to be taken off their list. I pressed '1' and  a gal came on and asked did U want to lower your Interest? I told her 'Yes I did'. She then asked 'How much do U have on credit cards?' I gave her my SCAM info of '$15,000.' She then asked, 'How many accounts do U have?' and I told her 'I have 3 cards"'. It was time to give her a "TRICK or NO TREAT" and played my Raunchy British song that was already set up to play to the previous call.
Man-Oh-Man the phone was beeping her disconnect before the song was done.
Sure hope she liked the "HALLOWEEN TRICK" on her!!!

I have been getting the calls from these people. I have told them for months I do not have any credit cards and I am on the national do not call list and to stop calling. They have said they will remove the number but call back the next day. Today the woman was just plain rude she starts moaning on the phone and Iask her what her problem is she says well I guess you dont have experiance in making a woman moan. I then ask to speck to her manager and of course she said she is the manager. I then ask to speck to her boss once again now she owns the company and no one is over her. I ask for her name and she tells me to guess it. Then she informs me she is a lesbain for some resaon and make a bunch of smart a** remarks. She finally says well her sister is really the boss and puts her on the phone and more of the same crap talk. They both said they would not take my number off their list and they do not care if they get fined or not. What a world we would live in if we all ran our businesses like this.

What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall; http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/robocalls
1.    Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list.
2.    Consider blocking the number
3.    Report it at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
4.    Report it at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
Register your phone numbers online at http://www.donotcall.gov or call (888) 382-1222 (must call from # you want removed).

When I receive a call from a new number I put it in my contacts list under Scum Suckers and assign it NO ring tone so at least after the first call they don't bother me anymore (I have filled all of the numbers in each and am up to Scum Sucker 47 now). Some phone companies will allow you to block a limited amount of numbers, this is only a whack-a-mole solution however it is the only one I can offer.

If you want to stop these calls then you need to dry up their revenue source. Your phone company is charging you a fee for caller ID. Your phone company pays the scammer for sending the caller ID information. Your phone company pays only a fraction of a cent per call and you pay $5 to $15 to your phone company. The scammers send out millions of calls per day which amounts to a significant amount of money however your phone company is charging a large amount to millions of customers. This may have something to do with their inability to stop these calls.
In order to stop this we need legislation making it illegal to charge for caller ID. If a phone service wishes to operate it would need to provide the caller ID at no charge as part of the service. Here is the $50,000 solution that the FCC is looking for and it doesn't cost anything. Here is an excellent blog site that I found that explains how one company is getting away with this activity.

What good is it doing to "report" the calls when all that happens is this. Everybody else gets to read it!!!
And they still keep coming. Whatever happened to being fined if you asked them to remove your name and they didn't????? Apparently that is not a "true" saying.

Identity Theft. Some ?Card Services? calls are made by criminal enterprises whose intent is to obtain personal financial information to commit identity theft. The callers may attempt to gain trust by indicating that they are associated with a bank, or that they only need to ?verify your banking information? to help lower your interest rate. In other cases, they may claim to be able to negotiate better terms or conditions on a credit card account, and then pressure the citizen to disclose financial information to take advantage of their ?limited time offer.?

Debt Assistance Scams. Other fraudulent callers seek to exploit the fact that many people face mounting credit card bills. The callers make unsolicited phone calls promising to help lower a person?s interest rates. They usually require the consumer to pay high up-front fees of as much as $2,000 or more. Once the consumer pays the money, however, the companies often fail to deliver the promised services. The end result: the consumer now is $2,000 more in the hole.

REMEMBER: BANKS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS DO NOT PLACE RECORDED CALLS TO CUSTOMERS OFFERING TO LOWER THEIR INTEREST RATES OR CHANGE THE TERMS OF THEIR ACCOUNT. IF YOU RECEIVE SUCH A CALL, IT IS VERY LIKELY A SCAM. THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION IS NOT TO RETURN THE CALL.
Nuisance Calls. People are receiving a high volume of repeat calls from ?Card Services? or similarly-named entities. People who ask the callers to take them off their calling list often run into a host of problems ranging from ?spoofed? telephone numbers to third-party telephone companies that are unresponsive. Because ?Card Services? callers are scam operators, they do not follow laws like the Do Not Call law, or prohibitions on recorded calls. Citizens report problems with:

?Spoofed? Telephone Numbers. Scammers making unwanted telephone calls use a new technology called ?caller ID spoofing? to falsify caller ID information. This means that telephone services such as caller ID, *69 (last call return) and *57 (call trace) are no longer reliable. The use of ?spoofed? numbers by fraudsters who hide from the law is spreading due to phone companies? installation of computer equipment that allows Internet-connected computers to cheaply make phone calls to conventional telephones. This technology allows the scammer to make unidentifiable phone calls to a person?s home. When a person returns a ?spoofed? call, they find that the number is disconnected, not in service, or is assigned to someone who is very obviously not the scammer.

Dont even answer the phone, they call me three or four times a week and want to lower the interest rate on my credit card; but when I ask what card, they hang up.  Oddly enough, after receiving several of these calls just last week, i had fraud on my checking account and my entire bank account was withdrawn from someone using my Visa Debit Card number all over the US and Europe!  Over $3K!

All the same scammers.   Nothing stops them, the Do Not Call List is a scam of our own Government.  I no longer even bother to complain to them.  Just goes into a black hole when you click send.

I do have a call blocker I bought on Ebay.  It does work but they just spoof another number.  I just keep adding it to my block list.  I can block 1,500 phone numbers.  When the same number calls back, my wall phone in the kitchen rings once then nothing.  I turned it down so low, I can't hear it in the bedroom.

My dad answered his phone to one of these card service scams, pressed 1.  The guy on the other end kept trying to get him to give his credit card number, but he refused.  Finally the guy said, "You can go to hell and take your credit card with you."  To which my dad replied, "Kiss my a**."  My dad is 80 - he doesn't need to deal with these sorts of morons!!!  He's old school and answers every call.  I do not, I just get annoyed at their stupid messages!!!

I am willing to take this matter to the highest courts to make sure these annoying calls stop.

Has anyone else noticed that they take advantage of the "STOP CALLING BY 8pm" and call at 7:59:55pm?

It is obvious that they have me on THEIR "list."  Well, doggone it, I am putting them in MY crosshairs!

Scammers and criminals these are!  They call endlessly from a variety of spoofed numbers ... and have been doing so for years.  There is NO one stopping them ... certainly NOT the FTC.  If you answer your phone, or if you press the button to get off the list ... you are DOOMED to be endless harassed.

"Rachael from cardholder services" called once again.  This is the number called from this time, but other numbers have been used in the past.  Nothing happens when I press "3" to stop future calls.  I also have tried pressing "1" to speak to a live person and asked to be removed from the call list.  This didn't work either.  I have pressed "1" to speak to a live person and asked for their names, and have immediately been hung up on.  How can it be legal for them to call me and disturb me, and then hang up when I ask who they are?  I have reported this in the past to the FCC, but nothing happens.  Why don't they do anything?

The credit card scammers don't have an agency. All they have is a bunch of boiler rooms controlled by some fraud or frauds ordering them to rip people off.

The company calls itself Card Services. I punched the number to talk to someone and played along hoping to get contact information I could pass to the FBI. If nothing else, robocalls are illegal. The woman I spoke with said her job was to help me lower the interest on my credit card and she could be reached by calling the number on back of my card. The number on the back of my card is my credit union. She said her agency controlled rates for all the credit card providers (which would make them more powerful than Congress). She said the person doing my eligibility review would give me contact information. But when I said I didn't since I pay off my card each month, she said I didn't qualify. Too bad. Should have told her I owed money and continued the game. Since I don't qualify, she said they wouldn't call me back. Any bets? In any case, I'll report this to the FBI and the FCC (am on the do-not-call list).

We have been getting phone calls from this number for at least 6 months now asking to lower our credit card intrest rate. WE DONT OWN a credit card to begin with.  I have asked them to remove my name from their list and before I can finish my sentence the call drops on their end. We have also pressed # 3 to be removed and yet they STILL call. We are on the Do Not Call list and yet they still continue to HARRASS us. This MUST stop!!  Enough of this crap.. We just just off the phone with the FCC and made a complaint and its now recorded and we now have a claim #. Call them @ 877-382-4357 and make a complaint. It is against the law for this Credit Card Co to continue to make HARRASSMENT calls ..Lets all get together here and start an class action suit..  Who's in??
