My employer says that this number has called her personal cell asking for me. However, I have not gotten calls from this number.

I just got a call for one of our employees, this is a business. We don't want calls all day long, every hour on the hour.

Who are these people? Why are they calling me?

Get a lawyer and sue them for 20 times what they claim you owe . There are some good lawyers that advertise in this blog .

I don't even have a vehicle that is financed. Y r they calling me!  I have a
2012 Kia... Paid in full..... And 2 older vehicles that's aren't financed!!!

Just tell them that they don't have permission to record your voice or any part of your conversation. That stumps them every time. Sometimes they will start asking why, and then I just hang up with a reminder that they do not have permission to record my voice or any part of the call or conversation from the start of the call to the end.

I'm about to find the angriest music I have and when they call I'm going to answer and wait until I get a real person and then just assault their eardrums with the angry music. They have beeb calling for like a month straight multiple times a day and they are REALLY starting to bug me. I've flipped out on people like them before and I will gladly do it again. Sorry but if you're going to be a jerk and keep calling without leaving a message then be prepared for my witch with a capital B switch to get flipped!

These people are idiots. When you answer they demand that you fully identify yourself including SS number. Sorry but I am usually in public place all day and for them to make me speak it out loud leaves me more vulnerable to ID thieves. The Russian sounding lady told me it was for my own security. When I protested she said the weirdest thing: no one is going to ID thief you repeating your account detail. Well why do I need to ID myself then if I have nothing to worry about? I go through this with them all the time and its the same Russian prostitute who answers. I am late and I don't mind ignoring their calls. When I do answer it is just to harass them back. I enjoy arguing with them because I won't give them any personally Identifying confirmation over the phone. If they ask for DOB, I ask them what's their DOB. They get so mad. You gotta mess with them because they are nuisance when your late. I don't understand why they think ringing my phone will magically make money appear in my bank account. Even more annoying is when you tell them when they can expect a payment they then say "ok, we will go ahead and set up a check by phone. What is your bank account number". If these doosh bags think I am giving that information, they are morons. I always say "no we are not going to set anything up like that" their response is always OK. We will look for your payment on that date. They are complete jack a***s!

Well, well, well.... a perfect person. Every single paid the exact day it's due or maybe days before. Wow, I wish life were always that easy. As far as paying your car note on time and the timing of their calls, they will start calling you from 3 to 5 days after your due date regardless of your payment history. I've already scheduled this months payment via their website, to be taken out of my bank account on the 30th. That is 15 days late; however, I accept the late fee. HOWEVER, they still call many times without seeing that I made an auto transaction. I've sent them a typed notorized letter informing them that they cannot call during my work hours (gave them exact times). This is what they told me to do when I asked them how I could stop their calls coming in at work because I was afraid of it hurting my employment. Well, that lasted for about two months and now here we go again.  I've reported them to the BBB and made a formal complaint about their business practices. I would definitely recommend that no one go through that company for any transaction. Be careful also that what you see is what you get before signing the dotted line because while you think it is GMAC transaction, Nuvell will be their collector and represent themselves as the auto finance compnay.

No, your payment was LATE when it wasn't received by the due date. Just because the company extends the courtesy of not assessing a late fee until days later doesn't mean you're paying on time. Pay your bills, grow up and act like a responsible American adult and manage your finances properly. DEADBEAT!

Pay your car note on time and they won't have to call you to send the money in. DUH!!! Deadbeat.

I have called these people several times and told them to stop calling my cell phone and telling them I am not the person they are trying to get in touch with and all they say is we will make note of it yet they still keep calling!

THEY CALL WHEN I AM STLL SLEEPNGSO MY CELL AND HOME PHONES ARE OFF.  I CALL BACK TO SEE WHO WAS ON MY CALLER ID AND JUST HANG UP ON THEM.  I AM CURRENT ON MY LOAN AND BECAUSE OF MY DISABILITY HAVE BAD CREDI .....SO I CAN ONLY DO MY BEST!

Known Phone numbers: (14 that I know of....each of which calls at least 5 times a day to our business offices for emplyees (yes, they have been told this is a business and their calls will not be forwarded to our employees)...who knows how many more they may use)

I have gotten four calls this morning alone from 888-235-9513.  I know who it is and why they are calling.
My son has a loan through them.  If he is one day late after the due date they start calling,  How many days do you actually have before you are REALLY late with a payment?  I thought you had a grace period of 10 days after the due date.

Have seen several posts that this no. is for a collection agency/GMAC affiliate/Nat'l. Auto Finance/Nuvell (in its various incarnations), etc.

Received this call on my cell phone which - so far - only my husband & I have the number to (other than the co. that assigned it to us - ... hmmmm?).  They are probably just trolling phone numbers by computer in the hopes of snagging someone so that they hit paydirt!

I would suggest ignoring (and, if you can, blocking) the number unless you know of a legitimate reason for them to be calling you.

It is Nuvell,(Technically GMAC, which is now Ally) my wife has an acocunt with them. She had some problems back in 2008, and they worked with her to roll two months to the end of her loan. I was not aware of this at the time, and borrowed money from a friend to catch up. Since GMAC took the bail out, we have been getting constant calls from them. saying the loan is x number of days late (today it was 9, I was home to take the call, which does not make sense because it is due on the first with no grace, and it is the 13th). Six months ago, i demanded they send a statement of acocutn including payments and charges. I recived it and it shows that she is actually ahead just under two payments.  I called them about this, and they said that must be wrong, they are different departments. I told them they can come get the car, and we can meet in court. They still call from their outsourced call center multiple times a day (according to caller id, no message s left), but have not followed up on my request for them to seize the vehicle and meet me in court.

They are harrassers and nothiong more, one hand does not know what the other hand is doing.
