Caller calls himself, Investigator Martin. He is very insistent that he has a very serious financial situation that he needs contact information for. The man called me SEVERAL times over the last month and every time I tried to call him back, I had to leave a message and he would not call back for some time. Today, he called 6 times in a row... no one responded when I answered... I heard voices in the background of another language (not English) and then they would hang up. On the 6th time, it was "Investigator Martin" and I told him that I was not able to help him.

This is disturbing and quite annoying!

I have been getting a call from this 678-666-1450 number, followed promplty by an "unavailable number" for the past week. At first he said his name was Tim Thomas and that he had received a "sealed envelope" on his desk with my name and SSN on it. He said he would be by my home or work to serve me on 05/15 if I did not call 1-888-236-8627. On 5/15, he called again saying the same as before, only this time he would be here 05/16 to serve me. I am in arrangements with debt I owe, so I am NOT going to JAIL! He even called my husband's work cell, how on earth they got that number, i have no idea. My husband said to bring whatever he needs, that we won't be calling any numbers as we know this to be a SCAM. Today he called, same guy I swear, but today his name was Paul Martin. Now he has some avadavit and since I'm not calling them I am waiving my rights. He said if I don't call them back today, "then good luck." This is harrassment and a scare tactic. I do believe it is against the law to say you are someone you are not. He has a distinct voice, so I know it was the same person. Also- when you google the company, you can't find anything, and when you google the company attached to the 888 # there is no information.

this number call me and told me they were investagaating me for alot of things and they will be at my home to serve me papers whatever that means told them they can go to hell. turns out they are a scam.

They are scam artists that say you have alot of bad checks and they try to steal your money because theyre DUMB :)

This number called me and told me that i was going to be served with court papers the following day because of check fraud and the company tat it was from was going to press these charges against me in the amount of 1200 dollars. Then he told me there is another option I could chose to opt out of that unsettled court date, I would need to give them 550 on credit card that day and that they needed my email address to give me the electronic reciept. Then I told him he must be crazy thinking tht i was just going to give him that much money to someone i didnt even know. Then he said he could talk to the investigator above him to try to make better arrangements of 312 dollars total lowering the price for me of two small payments of 156.12 within two weeks of each other. I cant velieve i sat on the phone with him this long. I heard from a friend that he kept calling her and asking her what my number was so they could serve me court papers. Do not fall for this it is a terrible SCAM and they will keep trying to track you down til you call them. I was ignorant and thought it was about my ex husband so make sure to look up all numbers like this on the internet before you decide to call from your own number. Now i have to lose my tracks starting with my phone number.

I was contacted by them also I just reported them to the FTC Federal Trade Commission. It is all a scam!!!

Got a phone call from this number. The person said his name was investigator Matthew hill n said I have been charged with a bad check fraud. He said if I didn't pay they would take me to court n I would have to pay them the amount plus court fees. These guys are a collection agency called RNA investigations. Complete scam. I told them ok well if I owe u the money, lemme have Ur address so I can mail out a letter of validation. He refused to give out their info n said they will only correspond thru fax. there other number is 678-666-1448.
