Received a call from this number. Obviously a "girlfriend" on the other line that couldn't prounounce my name correctly and getting all nasty with me when I corrected her. I Hung up. Wouldn't tell me where she was from. Sounded like a ghetto girl.
Dara 2011-06-06 21:05:15 Unknown
Wow! That was a harsh comment. It is countrywide. If you are a customer of theirs they are trying to get you to refinance. This company is going through some big chages..stay away!! 888-241-3593 calls a lot at the end of the month..
Shan 2011-06-06 21:05:15 Unknown
Countrywide is calling me all the time to refi from that number. They don't leave a message-
jra146 2011-06-06 21:05:15 Unknown
Cuntrywide it is alright! They are the worst, next to Wamu in terms of loans. Stick it to you wherever they can. Won't leave me alone because I am paying their 30yr loan off in 5 yrs and they are trying to force me to consolidate at outrageous terms!! Stay away is right!

They offer to refinance your loan under new makinghomesaffordable.gov yet they try to charge you 400.00 application fees and closing cost this and that. People please why would you qualify for this program. Because your are tight on funds right. So what is all this loan origination fees etc... when you are done you will have lost what little if any equity you might have. Guess what they want to get that for themselves, never mind helping you out. This program seems to be a bunch of junk maybe except for those that are behind. Then they will only save you maybe 1 percent difference from your original loan and charge you a point for that. Watch out people don't let Country wide have what little of property assets you may have left.

I got a call from Bank of America asking to speak with Gerri Smith (I am using an alias). I said, "How can I help you?". The person responded that she could only speak with MR. SMITH. I responded that she would have a hard time doing that and hung up. I am Gerri Smith and I am a female.
I guess Bank of America (nee Countrywide) wanted to offer MR. SMITH a refi...

This number has been calling for weeks, sometimes multiple times in an hour. Quite annoying. No message left.
Leaf 2011-06-06 21:05:15 Unknown
They call repeatedly but don't leave a message. That's annoying if it is Countrywide, because my mortgage WAS with them and they apparently sold it to Bank of America, because my mortgage got tranfered to B of A. So why would Countrywide want me back?
Sarah from NC 2011-06-06 21:05:15 Unknown
This number keeps calling me at home, sometimes multiple times a day. Never leave a message. They are persistent.
golfcam 2011-06-06 21:05:15 Unknown
I let it go to answer machine and they hung up.

kat 2010-04-26 00:03:56 Unknown
i don't care who they are - they call all the time - at least 8 times in the last two weeks - thanks for waking up the kids yet again
bothered 2010-04-23 00:25:04 Unknown
The phone rings. We stop what we are doing to answer. The call comes in blank. No one is ever on the other end.

Yes, BOA refinancing. I asked to be removed from the call list and was transferred to a Customer Service department that is closed for the day. "They called me at 8PM as I was putting the baby to bed. I can't call them at that time?"
Nikki 2010-03-10 02:02:49 Unknown
Stephanie is correct, it is Bank of America. I was able to speak with someone but it got me no where, she had to transfer me to customer service but then I couldn't get through.
Stephanie 2010-02-24 01:14:48 Telemarketer
This IS Bank of America. Countrywide did this before BOA bought them. We just refinanced last year and they are wanting to offer us a free consultation. If you call teh tollfree number back you get a automated message that says "Thank you for calling Bank of America in regards to our recent marketing call...". Countrywide sent emails, phone call all the time about offering refinancing and BOA is just continuing with the dame tactic. Hey, they do it because it works. It is frustrating though.
Muriel 2010-02-13 23:28:29 Unknown
This is not Bank of America. Just got a message where they said 'this is an attempt to collect a debt' but we don't have any unpaid debt. It's a scam.
Daniel 2010-02-06 23:12:39 Unknown
It is not BOA! Listen closely to the name they give it is not "Bank of America". It is BOA HL LLC. That is not the same thing.
It is a scam. Do not give them information.

This is BOA who has now called us six times within 2 weeks, always late in the evenings between 8 & 10 PM EDT. 1st call hung up when we answered the phone. 2nd caller asking us to refinance & we told him "No thanks", he hung up on us. 3rd caller at least was polite and didn't hang up. 4th called same story....please refi...again no thanks, and then hung up. 5th caller we interupted before he finished his speal, and he hung up on us. Grrrrrr..... 6th caller we could hardly hear with all the background noise, but finally told him very clearly to take us off their call list and that we were not interested...he hung up as well. We have now contacted BOA to inform them of this obnoxious and unprofessional behavior. Big deal......they won't do anything. We are looking to take our mortgage to a bank that didn't get a federal bailout now.

Calls persist, never answered, despite communicating months ago that we are NOT interested in re-financing, well after Countrywide was bought out by Bank of America.
Momma 2009-10-17 01:33:17 Unknown
Seem to call late. 7:00-7:30PM MDT.
It is annoying, then no one answers.
Total silence.
I thought if we signed up with the powers-that-be, these calls would be blocked.

unidentified call -- leave no message - just breathe
Chic 2009-06-05 22:54:35 Telemarketer
It's Countrywide. They call on average about every three months to try and get me to refinance. It would make more sense if they just called people who could actually save some money with an offer of a lower rate. It would have to be an offer less than 4% for me to be interested, so don't call me until then.
Kevin 2009-05-19 18:16:12 Telemarketer
It's BofA. They bought Countrywide. I took the call and should save about $200 per month on my mortgage payment.
ma 2008-06-30 13:06:46 Unknown
OMG, calls all the time, no message left. Will be moving my account.
Bruin 2008-06-03 22:17:41 Unknown
I answered the phone, heard faint voices in the background and then the call was disconnected within 5 or 6 seconds. I called the number back and it was Countrywide. The gentleman who answered said I could either have him put me on a no-call list, which would take 30 days to activate, or he could transfer me to a customer service rep. The CSR said he'd have to transfer me to their V.I.P. department to take me off of their calling list. After jumping through hoops a recorded message came on saying, "I'm sorry your number could not be completed. Please try hanging up and calling again." What for? I wouldn't recommend Countrywide to anyone!

CALLED JUST ABOUT EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK! IF THEY DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE- I DON'T HAVE THE TIME. I AM A CURRENT CUSTOMER AND DON'T WANT TO REFI.
