I say we meet up with them and take everything they have.the old fashion way

just to be clear, these types of calls are not from Google...they are from companies that claim they can help businesses do better on Google. just didn't want anyone spending too much of your valuable time calling Google to stop the calls because it won't do anything for you. there are many scandalous companies that even claim to be from google, but google rarely does any telemarketing, and if they do, they can easily provide proof in a hurry that they are actually from Google.

just thought i would throw that out there so nobody wastes their time.

p.s. i know this, because i own a company who has to deal with these robo-calling, scamming companies on a daily basis. we help businesses get real reviews from their actual clients on google and the other major review sites, but we do it legitimately and without robocalls, etc. i personally get irritated when we get lumped in with these scammers, which is why i spent a little time posting this. maybe if the info helps someone, we can put a little good karma out there and not get lumped in with these jokers. www.trackbackinc.com

I received this number at 2am in the morning along with the annoying day calls. Don't know where they are located but I'm in Canada & it seems they are getting everyone

Received a call from 1-971-220-1753 that I won a home security system.  I told him that I hadn't put in for one and wasn't interested.    The caller was a foreign speaker and wanted to know if I was the homeowner and that his manager would call me and I could ask him any questions.  Someone then called me from 1-888-244-0247, the "listing" of Tammy Maquire and a man speaking trying to get me to gives him information.  When I told him I wasn't interested, he wanted to know why and I basically said that if I say I am not interested, that that should be enough.

They are calling from 1888-543-6072 and the recording is asking us to call 1888-244-5458.

I checked "my received calls" from my cell phone and show 888-543-6072.  I was going to check it out when I received a voice mail from 888-244-5458 asking me to call if I wanted to make $900/day.  I see by reading other emails, that these two phone numbers are connected.  I really appreciate knowing this is a scam.  I decided to call the 888-244-5458 number and when they answered, they asked my name.  I said really fast...."I tie your tie, you tie my tie".  He couldn't understand me and asked me to spell it. ha ha  That was fun now that I know they are phony.  I don't believe they will be calling me back.

Glad to see you are taking action.  But do note that the real Google company may have absolutely nothing to do with the phone calls. I would like to know who you have complained to and if you are starting a petition against these guys.  People are seriously trying to earn a decent living respectfully and these fools are putting time into scamming those who don't have money.  It just pisses me off so badly!! (*~*) ggggrrrrrrrrr!!!

Same call as everyone else. Also says to push 8 to be taken off of the call list. Has anybody done this and did it work. I have no idea what pushing 8 will actually do. You hear of certain numbers allowing others to get access to your phone and rack up huge phone bills. Like everyone else I just want it to stop. They are calling twice a day  now. Once at 7 a.m. and once between 5:30 and 6 p.m.

They called and I think it is a scam from what I have read, seemed too good to be true!

This is a TOTAL scam! Don't fall for it -- these guys wouldn't even give me their web site or name of the business, which makes it a total scam. I told they guy he must think we're stupid if we would fall for his b***s*** and he WENT OFF, calling me every nasty name in the book!

This is a total scam, when I told him what state I lived in, he said they 'weren't hiring in my state' - yet refused to give any info.  WHAT JERKS!

Dec. 20, 2011. I checked my phone messages and I had received an automated message from 1-888-244-5458. The message claimed to be from a Google affiliate stating that I could make up to $900 per day working for them with no computer skills required. The $900 per day and no computer skills required made me suspicious of this call from the get-go!!! Then I looked up their number here on 800notes and my suspicions were confirmed. Hi: I just got a call from this man speaking about a job work-at-home job to be specific and call this number 888-244-5458. I figured it was a scam when I'm already with adsense and making over $900 a day without a computer.

I received the same call about becoming a Google affiliate and making up to $900 a day from the phone number 888-543-6072. Message was left in my voicemail.

Next time they phone I will speak french to them. Why? A trick which is very effective. I used it in another scam from a number that was calling me at least 6 times a day...then I read on a scam website that someone had answered in a foreign language to them and they stopped calling...worked for me too.

I received a call from that number on a friday a recording. I called the number a few days later and he called me back.  Told me about it . Also  $ 200.00 start up and then i would b e up and running in a week and would make the $ 200.00 back in a week. I'm so not sure about this. I have eben looking for legitimate  work at home jobs.  The guy alos said it was legitimate when I asked  him.

I really got them speechless. They have called me several times, same number and each rep says they are from either google, or amazon. Finally I decided to get smart with them and ask if I have to make phone calls to people in order to make this money they claim, and when they said no, I responded to them " then why the heck are you calling me then, instead of doing this job making a 900.00 a day, that you claim i can make..Also I asked why not send me the freakin package for free and just deduct the cost out of what I make. They couldnt answer me, so I told them to stop scamming people, and get a real job you losers.. If you recieved this call, just be a smartass to them, and tell them to skip to the part where they want your money, and then say no.

This number called me and left the same message 900$ dday google. How are they still gettting away with this scam?

I have them on my missed call list on my cell phone 6 times withinin 3 days-no message left.  I refuse to answer any out of state numbers because 90% of the time it's a rude telemarketer or a recording.  I think they gave up on me because they haven't called my cell phone or house phone for a few days now.   I just started to take the time to report all these jerks to the Do not call registry, don't know if it will help or not.  Too bad there wasn't a do not spam list. lol

I got a call and called back this number.... when the asked for my name I told them ,"no you can't have my name but you can STOP calling me". Then I hung up..... It is all a scam

I got the same phone call after the recording to call1 888 244 5458 they said i could make up to $900.00 a day as an Google Affiliate  i told them it was a scam and i was going to turn them in he said to go ahead and turn him in must have called me 5 times in the last year .

No, it is not difficult to weed out scammers. Some one offering a job $900 a day - sounds like donkies do fly !! I am sure these are the lowest scum of the earth calling people with offer like this.

They do pay you nine hundred dollars a day (when donkies fly).
