This also happened to me this month! Same people. Everything you explained is what happened to me.

The guy spoke extremely fast and said "with the recording off" that they would not charge the account & that he understood that I was not interested but needed to just get through the survey. So, he said that even though his company would not be charging the account that every time he ended a question with "correct" that I had to say "yes" or "correct"--otherwise the recording would have to be restarted ? the survey would be invalid. After this pre-survey instruction, he accelerated through the myriad questions & then put his supervisor on the line. WHAT A LIE! Don't let yourself feel pity for a person who claims to be just trying to keep his/her job when asking you to lie to "cover" for him/her. IT'S NOT JUST A FORMALITY. IT'S A DECEITFUL PRACTICE FOR DRIVING SALES.

Contact your bank, close your account and dispute the charges.
