What kind of a company does business this way? And why would I want a job from someone that doesn't think its worth calling me?

I had received a text message from a 1-424-832-9308(LA, California), saying that my resume was just reviewed, and if I'm still looking for a job in the management field for me to call 1-888-257-1284. Yeah, like I'm going to call that number....

Same here. Got a text asking to call 888-257-1284 if I am still interesting in a IT job. How lazy can you be?

Yep - just got one "I just reviewed your resume. If you are still looking for work in the Health Care field, please call me at 888-257-1284." The obviously have not reviewed my resume because I've never worked for or am even remotely interested in the health care field. Yeesh!

Same thing has happened to me twice:

"Hi.  I just reviewed your resume.  If you're still looking for work in the Administrative field, please call me at 888-257-1284."
I don't appreciate receiving these kinds of texts and I would love to send them an invoice every time they do this.

Spam-a-roni.....I do not have my resume posted anywhere currently.  Texts are an informal and unprofessional way to contact me if you really want me to consider working for you in the first place.  It is rude and lazy as well.  I would like to be left alone by you.

Received a text from 646-398-0467 saying,
"Hi.  I just reviewed your resume.  If you're still looking for work in the Entry Level field, please call me at 888-257-1284."

I received a text message at 4:48pm Eastern time. From phone number; 202-617-7089.  Saying; "I just reviewed your resume.  If you're still looking for work in the Customer Service field, please call me at 888-257-1284."  The text from the number with the 202 area code is from a cell phone in Washington DC, according to whitepages.com anyway.

Huh, I thought prospective employers called or maybe e-mailed prospective employees? Not texting them asking them to call a 1-800 number.

I got a text telling me to call this number from an area code in NY. Suffice to say these are just recruiters and I would not waste your time. If they wanted to really get you that great job then they would have called your personally rather than sending a text

I got the same message saying if I wanted a job in the Retail field to call. But the 213 # they texted from is a cell phone! And I'm not looking for anything in the Retail field!!

i called the 512-516-2285 and they said it was employment solutions... i asked to be removed from their calling and texting list... we'll see

got a txt from this # saying if i was still looking for a job in the hospitality field to call back this # but the txt came from this # 512-516-2285

Just got a call text me that they saw my resume and wanted me to call them back if I was still interested in working.

Funny thing I'm not looking for a job!!!!!!!

also got a text but from a 213 number indicating to text back to this phone number. annoying.

I just got a text saying they saw my resume and to call if I am still looking for a marketing job. How annoying, the spam emails and voicemails were enough! Now I have to deal with the text messages too? Grrrrr

I too just rec'd a txt msg from the same 888 number regarding admin employment.  Fortunately, I was aware and know that temp agencies don't send txt msg regarding potential employment.  And, the number came from is 407 area code.

Correction - the text came from 213-434-3970. The number they left for me to call back is the 1-888-257-1284.

Got the same text message.  I am looking for a job but since it's an unsual way of contact for potential employers I was suspicious.  I called the number and an automated voice thanked me for calling "Employer Network" and said I was contacted because my resume had been seen online.  They are a employment agency.

Left text on my phone saying that they saw my resume and to call them if still interested in working.

I'm not looking for a job?????
