Mushmouth who cannot speak english calling asking about what type of schools my children go to.  If you can't speak English then go to school yourself and learn English before you start calling people who speak that language.  If you have problems learning how to speak English, then get a job as a cab-driver or a janitor or a chai-wallah.  Some sort of menial, unskilled laborer kind of job that people of low intelligence do.  Or better yet, kill yourself and rid the world of the nuisance which you are.

Called my cellphone several times.  They never leave a message.  Very annoying.

I received a call...they are also telling me its about an education survey....
I think it's a scam as they are starting to ask personal info...

Called me here in Toronto today. Could hardly hear, a lot o static. A female with Pakistani/ East Indian accent, said something about a company wanting to ask me about the education system in my area.  
I told her we had no kids and as I was saying "please remove me from your list"... she hung up on me.

i got the smae call saying there from the alberta governement and want to sit down with my parents and talk about my education and how they can support me i think they're scammers

A few minutes ago my home phone rang and the call display read "Unavailable Name 888-266-8345".

I picked up the phone and, in an angry voice, I yelled "WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU WANT?"

After 2 seconds of silence I yelled "WHO THE F*CK ARE YOU AND WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU WANT?"

After another 2 seconds of silence I yelled "F*CK OFF" and hung up my phone.

I don't know who called or what they wanted, and I don't care!

This mci financial telomarketers are out of hand 15 calls starting  last night @0200 another 15 this morning till now different people each time they leave messages an call back to back it's getting out of hand. They call all hours about 15-calls a day. They know my name an I'm over there harassing calls. They change there number an call from unknown numbers I wish they'd stop.

Guy who asked me to help him with the e-mail address for our company president (asked for him by name). When I told him he is not at this location and who is calling he said he was from Energy Wise. This guy sounded like he was on a cell phone and outside where it was very windy. I told him to give me his number and I will have our president call you himself with his e-mail address. He started to give me his number then kept pausing and changing the number - was definitely trying to throw me off track. Then he said that there are many representatives at this number so he won't be able to reach just me. The number he finally gave me after all his stalling and talking was 877-810-7700.  That is listed at "Live Energy" out of Texas.
Yet he was calling me from this 888 #.

How stupid are these companies? When some telemarketer is calling me I absolutely refuse to do business with that company or any affiliates of that company

Called my work, said they were here to help the Auto Business. I asked her what they did for the Auto business.... She said we help them ( In her VERY Broken English) I asked, HELP the do what? She said we HELP them. Then she hung up.... What a waste of time! Going now to  DONOTCALL.GOV.. and file that complaint.. I suppose they had no idea We were on the do not call list......

A woman with a middle eastern accent said she was calling from Intel and wanted to speak to the sales manager.  I told her this is a home and she's invading my home.  Said she was sorry and hung up.  Scammers, I'm sure

Called me and asked for the "Sales Manager".  Told the lady that she either had the wrong number or was a telemarketer and either way I didn't want to talk to her.  I said, "Thank you", and hung up phone. (I'm so polite!)  :-)

This time they left a voicemail. I missed the name of the company but it asked for a name that matched my initials but not my name (a female name starting with A), said there was an important financial matter to discuss, and then I was given a different 888 number to call plus a lengthy reference number. It was a recorded message. No mention of a security system on this one, though...

Received a call offering me a $ 1,300.00 home security system for FREE.
Told the caller that I have a system already for 15 years and am not interested in changing. If I'm not mistaken (the guy who called had a heavy accent and talked very fast), he identified the company as being Protectron
or something like that.

@Brian (1 April) - I'm assuming your post is an April fools joke. The Better Business Bureau is useless unless the company is local and registered with them and they only collect feedback which is offered to those who ask for it. They have no power at all. And assuming the call is from overseas (I got it this morning and didn't answer) there is no law governing them at all. The only reliable way to reduce these calls is to get call display and not answer calls you don't recognize. Get a voicemail service or answering machine and legitimate callers will leave a message.

It is illegal for them to solicit a business via telephone.  So, tell them they are calling a business and you will report them.  If they don't stop calling, call the Better Business Bureau and tell them they are harassing your company.  Within 20 minutes, they (the idiot scammers) will call you back and apologize.  They have too or else lose all their phone lines.  They agreed to this when they signed up with the phone company (fine print isn?t always bad).

Same here... Received a call and he was very persistant... I just told him I had Alarm Force installed and I was happy with the service... He did not want to end the call so I did for him.

Yes - a call center in Mumbai or Karachi trying to sell a home security system from "X S" security - as if.

I have received 7 calls today, 7 calls yesterday and numerous over the past 3 weeks.  I have listened to these poorly accented people tell me a representative would be in the area and would love to stop buy and show me a state of the art security system.  At first i was polite and told them i was not interested, then i told them that it is a unethical for a company to ask if we currently had a system and who it was with, then i told them i had a security system and a large dog , then i told them i had a security system, a dog and my house was protected by Smith & Wesson (the didnt get this).  And finally i told him........please tell me all about your product....i put the phone down and did my vaccuming.  Funny when i was done so was he!  Now if only i could get them to stop.  I have asked to have them take me off of their call list but this didn't work. How does one stop these annoying calls!

Wife got two calls from them, they were trying to offer us a deal on a new security system for our house. Wife told them off. I love her. Its funny that one of the above posts said they where talking about there financial account. I think a scam too, very much so.

Got few calls from them- now I dont pick any from them.. I have reported it to rogers and told them to block it.

Ive gotten several. Everyday. But they leave a vague message about my financial account? Company mci or something. Looks like a scam?

Calling twice a day for the past serveral days.  Caller unknown, no voice-message.
