Yup, same here.  No message, no caller id.  I don't bother answering.

Magazine subscription renewal with a survey that goes with it. Answer the call, answer there questions and they will stop calling. OR suffer a few days and add your name and number to their recording when you call them back. They claim to have your name and number removed withing 24 hours but you better be very clear on your info when you leave the message...

They just call at odd hours and don't speak. When we tried to call they say leave your number to unsubscribe and it will be done in 24 hrs but calls are still coming! Some publishing house's number

This number called again. This time no one talked when I answered...

Just got a call from Tony with 'CIO Insight' magazine. Wanted to update my boss' information in their publication. Told him I'd take down his info for my boss to call back, but he didn't want to do that. Seemed fishy to me so I told him we weren't interested... several times... finally just had to hang up because he kept talking...

Thanks for the FCC link. I filed today (3/11/10). I did call the number back and they said they were a subscription contact service (Recording), I did not talk to anyone as this number does not accept in-bound calls.

I get calls from this number multiple times per day.  If I answer there  is no one there.  I believe it is a computer that calls to find out what time of day you answer so a live telemarketer can call you during the times you are home.  I reported it to the FCC.

This number calls and calls my cell.  it has left a msg on my voicemail but it just sounds like muffled background noice with someone shuffling around.  When I have answered before there was no one there but when I answered today (2/25) a guy told me that I needed to update my information for Builders Magazine which he told me I had been recieving.  I proceeded to tell him I never got the magazine,  wasn't interested and that I wanted them to stop calling...I've been called by this # probably 30 or more times in the last month!  He tryed to sell me on giving him my info but I said no and told him I really wanted the calls to stop.  He told me he would take me off the list but it takes a month.  I said OK and that was it.  The guy was very persistant on selling me on the mag and ultimately getting info from me.

GETTING HANGUP CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.  PROBABLY A COMPUTER.  I WOULDN'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVEN IF I WANTED WHAT THEY'RE TRYING TO SELL!

Calls at least once a day. Dead air then hangs up. No caller ID. Reported them to the FCC and am on the Do Not Call list. Jerks.

Its a year later and its started again, the number called me, rang 3x and stopped. Unk to who it is.

They call everyday.  I called back and the recorder says you won a free publication if you leave your name and number they will stop calling, they comply with all laws blah blah blah.  So I did....they are still calling.  hmmmm...so I filed a complaint with the FCC.  The more people that file a complaint the better.

they call me 3 - 5 times a day.... I call back and the number is out of order / no longer in service.... SKAM!!!!

I get an automated message when I pick up. I never listen to the full thing; starts out "this is not a sales call.." and then goes into some schpiel about foreclosures.

I came to this site to figure out how to make it stop. I can't just not answer because it is a business line. Any suggestions?

We have been getting several calls a week.  They always hang up.

Two to three times a day for me...Each and every day.

I have tried to answer these calls from my cell and it hangs up.  Call it back and it hangs up again.  Same results for landline.  Rings twice and then hangs up.  They call me 4 times a day.

These bozos call several times a day. We don't pickup because their ID is not identified. They leave no message. Probably scum telemarketers.

Just got a call form this number - no one answered when I picked up.

CIO Insight, eh!?  Yeah, I could see it being that one along with a couple others by the same group.  Just happens to be that I'm receiving 3 of their AD Mags, and I'd love to get rid of two of 'em!  Maybe tomorrow I'll take the call 'n stick it to 'em!

I don't even answer, I've gotten wiser and if someone is not willing to show their name, it can't be good and let them leave a message if they want to get a hold of me so badly, if not they eventually give up!  I would just screen your calls, because I have gotten several of these calls too and I found out if I just ignore them, they give up, but if I pick up they are rude and try a few days later to call again.
