I have been called repeatedly from the same people as you and I could tell something wasn't right about them.  They sent me a fax with the "proposal" for collections for my company.  They listed an address out of Dallas,Tx and the same phone number of 888-240-1465.  I can give you their address if you are still having problems with these guys.  My email is roger@adairbailbonds.com and if you need info just let me know.  Oh, thank you for posting your comments it let me know my gut feeling was right.

I don't know if this is the same RRI, but I had hired someone with that same company name to collect on accounts for us....we are an apartment complex and I was too busy to try to chase down people that had moved out that still owed us money, so I put those files in the hands of a collection company.  Unfortunately, I wound up with the same problem - they called and were terrible to the people who they were supposed to be collecting from, and it's been 6 months and they have yet to send us any money they have collected on our behalf, and they won't return phone calls.  In fact, I got hung up on by the man in charge today - his name is Thomas Graham.  His secretary will not put me through to him and they won't call me back.  I asked for a mailing address to send them my termination of our contract in writing, as Thomas Graham told me I had to do in order to pull our files from them, but they won't give me an address to send the termination to.  The secretary hangs up every time I call because they know my phone number, and I have no idea what else to do!  I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and I'm going to contact the Attorney General.  But I still have no idea how to figure out where this supposed business is located to contact the local authorities wherever they are at.....there is definitely something VERY fishy going on.  The phone number I have for this place is 888-240-1465 and a fax # of 888-864-7405.  BEWARE of this company, whoever they are!!!!!

I did not receive a call but hired them do do collections for my business. They collected money from my customers, swore and threatened them and forced them to pay by western union.  Then they never paid us our portion or returned our phone calls.

These thugs pose a collection agency. David Morales (if that's even his name) resorts to slurs, epithets, insults, screaming, and what-not - they break every rule in the book against the Fair debt Collection Practices. I'd be very surprised if this man even graduated from elementray school with his rudimentary vocabulary and complete lack of intelligence. RRI can't even come up with any paperwork trying to verify the debt!  RRI needs to get a clue before they face criminal prosecution for extortion!

Wow-these people are awful, dishonest and not beneath breaking the law by actually representing themselves as attorneys.  They called my son who is in the Marines and represented themselves as attorneys-unbelievable!  Told him there he was being sued, there was a court date for today's date!  Gave him less than a day's notice and of course, he was never served with any documents!  Told him they were just doing a favor for the company they were trying to collect for that and that they are really a bails bond company!  They told him to just send them $415.00 via Western Union and the whole matter would be closed and they would send him a letter stating that AFTER THEY GOT THE MONEY.  When my son called and asked me about this, I looked up their number and found out who they really are.  My son didn't even owe any money to the company they were representing and fortunately has proof that the matter was settled several months ago!  Needless, to say when he called them back to tell them the real facts of the situation-the man got nasty (David Morales) and told my son all the ways he was going to make sure his credit was ruined by the end of the business day.  Again, wow!  I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau pronto!

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THE SAME GUY. TODAY 01-30-09. HE DISCLOSED ALL MY INFO WITHOUT VERIFYING TO MAKE SURE I WAS THE RIGHT PERSON. I ADV HIM THT HE DIDNT AND JUST VIOLATED ( FDCPA POLICY) AND HE HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT. SO I WILL BE CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY ON THEM TODAY..
 HE DIDNT KNOW THAT I WORK COLLECTIONS( ESPECIALLY 3RD PARTY) THE SAME AS HE AND THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO DISCLOSE ANY INFO WITHOUT MAKING SURE YOU ARE TALKING TO THE RIGHT PERSON....

RRI, Rolands and Riviera- Collection Agency. VERY rude, bad attitude. Horrible customer service skills, no way to run a business. Even if they are collecting debt there is no need for the bad attitide. I reported them to the BBB.
