I recieved a phone call from this number for a debt that I didnt owe regarding a fitness bill. The person was very rude and didnt want to discuss detailed information regarding this.  He said I owed it and that he would just put it on my credit report.  He also made many rude comments and implied that I was gay?  I then called back to speak to a supervisor and was treated even worse.  He said that he would just come to my house and collect the debt?  I then made a police report and contacted the newspaper etc. etc...

Got the same call ... they have been calling for 2 months! I Have NEVER had a gym membership! They harrass and lie. They are scammers, not a collection agency. I have checked with the better business bureau, and they said that rolands (rawlands) and riviera DO NOT EXIST! They PHISH for personal information, and then make their claims. BEWARE.

I missed the call, but it was an unknown number that left a voice mail. He introduced himself as John Martin from "RII" Saying that I needed to call him back by the end of the day. I guess he called my parents address as well, because my Mom called and said that this guy was looking for me. I tried calling back 4 times and it just rang until a voice message system picked up saying something along the lines that the extension could not be reached and that it was now going to disconnect. Very shady.

The caller introduced himself as Mr. Black from rolands riviera law firm. he stated the he was an attorney for some apartments we had just moved out of and that we owed them $1100.00 and if it wasn't paid by two days after the call that we would be going to court. He then told my husband that they would not garnish wages for a debt this small that they would just take the brand new vehicle we just purchased which still belongs to the finance company, as payment for this debt. (mind you this is a 16,000 dollar vehicle.) the next day he called our place of employment asking how to serve an employee. (if you are an attorney don't you already know how?) This is nothing but a major scam. I spoke with a judge about it and they in no way could take a vehicle worth 16,000 as payment for a 1100.00 dollar debt.

Now the caller identifies himself as Richard Black again from Rolands and Riviera, he calls about 3 times in a row then takes a break and resumes in the afternoon.  We actually got him to hang up when he said he was going to serve us at our place of business, my husband asked what he'd be serving "steak, lobster or burgers".  Once when he called we told him we missed hearing from him and the caller was at a loss for words.

The caller identified himself as Mr. Black stating that it would be in my interest to return his call immediately regarding a health club membership.  The caller indicated our credit rating could be effected if we did not call.  We contacted our attorney who gave me the link to this website as a possible scam.  I contacted my landline phone company to report this problem; they put me on the do not call list and said we need to ask the caller to stop calling and to tell the caller he is committing a crime and to take me off their list.

They called and said that I had a claim for $56 to "Impact Fitness" for a contract for a membership I signed in Feb 06. I have NEVER had a membership!! Then they tried to say they had my DL license and rattled off some bogus #! THey are major scammers!! It comes up as unknown caller. They yell and harrass and LIE!! Beware!
