CALLING BUT NOT TALKING.
ccollins 2007-04-23 19:04:30 Unknown
I just called the number from a land line and got an operator who admitted it was Sprint making the calls and then she asked for my mobile # and said that there were 2 promotional offers available to our account and I, emphatically told her I wasn't interested and to take my number off their list. We'll see.

good luck in gettng your number removed, they said it could take up to 90 days, I had three calls in an hours time. I asked them how long it would take to cancel my service, they did not like that question, but I'm about ready.

I've been getting calls from this number for awhile now, it' Sprint telemarking. I've call them to have my # remove, not luck. They were calling me about 6 months ago too.
I will be switching and will never go back to Sprint!

I have received approximately a call per business day for about a month. I did confirm it's Sprint, and have requested to be removed... four times, thus far. They seem unable or unwilling to respect the directive to stop calling.
It seems to me that this may be a form of aggregated fraud which could have a class action suit waiting to happen, by blowing through minutes from customers who traditionally run close to the limits of their call plans to generate extra revenue. Or, at least, it's a good reason to look more closely at Verizon.

As far as I know when you call from your cell phone to your wireless provider, the minutes are not counted! It was like this with T-mobile when I was their customer, and Sprint, my current provider does the same.
Your customer service is on a speed dial on your cell phone. You need to dial something like *3 or #4 (something to this effect, it is different with every provider). This way they know you are calling as their customer. I think if you just dial their phone number the regular way, it will also catch it, and the minutes will not be counted.

I had the same problem as everyone else that has posted. Probably, this is NOT Sprint number.. But Sprint sold out yours numbers.

I had the same problem as everyone else that has posted. i finally called back (on a land line!) and the reason they have been calling me incessantly was to sell me wireless internet. That's B***s***.

they woke me up at 9am (the one and only day i got to sleep in!) and they've been calling ever since!!!
Colin 2007-03-14 02:06:02 Unknown
They've been calling my number at least once a day for several weeks now. I work overnights and sleep during the day, so it keeps waking me up. There would never be anyone there when I answer, and you're put on hold forever if you call. I didn't know that it was Sprint until I came to this website. Now, I had Sprint put me on their do-not-call list. Thanks to everyone else here for the info!

Thanks for the info! This is like the Trac Phone business charging all the calls as roaming calls. Nothing but free $$$$'s to the CEO's.

I have been a Sprint customer for years. This is obnoxious & I am using a landline right now to tell them to take me off their calling list. I find it interesting that they use this method of calling & not saying anything in an effort to get you to call back on your cell & use your minutes. There, just spoke to someone & it's done.

I have gotten a call from this number waking me up every morning since Feb. 27th. What can be that important to call every day and never leave a message? I even answered once and nobody said anything! After reading these posts, I called Sprint, and they said they disabled the number from their end, so hopefully I won't have to deal with it anymore...I'm already on the no call list.
Marc 2007-02-28 14:57:20 Unknown
They called every day at the same time for about 2 weeks so i finnaly answered they didnt say anything after 3 hellos?
Glenn 2007-02-27 14:31:27 Unknown
I'm not sure who it is, but they will not leave me a message. I don't want to waste my min. on 888 numbers who will not leave a message. It must not be thqt importtant if they will not leave a message.
Oda 2007-01-29 16:53:37 Unknown
They called my cell phone three time in the past four hours!
Lenya 2007-01-29 16:52:49 Unknown
It's Sprint. I am their customer but hate them for using my phone #, minutes, and time like this. You can remove yourself from their list. Just call their customer service.
