It is not a scam. It's a mail-order pharmacy, just like MedCo. https://www.myprimemail.com/MyRx/MyPrimeMail#!/ViewHomeEvent/+

It's primemail, a mail order pharmacy, which I ordered from through my insurance company.  This is something you probably set up to receive prescriptions in the mail.

Event Reminder
It is indeed PrimeMail but because they don't show any name, my caller ID shows 'unknown caller' so I don't pick up.
I called PrimeMail directly and they confirmed that 888-282-4801 is a legitimate number. If they would just show their name it would save a lot of aggravation.

It's PrimeMail Pharmacy. They are the fulfillment pharmacy for my medical/rx/dental insurance. They call from time to time to verify prescription information or to let me know the status of an order or a particular item. I wish they would have their name show instead of just the number.  I ignore 800 calls with no name.  They left a message on the machine identifying themselves so I picked up.

They called me today, and this is for a mail order script which I just them last week.  It is NOT identity theft.  Sheesh, there is so much of this identity theft going on, it makes everyone wary of legitimate business as well!

This is Prime Therapeutic Mail Order Pharmacy. They always ask for your whole name, birth-date and home address before going into detail about the phone call. They do this to protect your information from being told to someone other than you. They call for various reasons like if there is going to be a delay on shipping your order, or if they have submitted forms to your doctor for more information prior to shipment. There are several numbers they use and they always leave a message if no answer.

Yes- beware!!!

I just received a call 11:30 am on 7/28/2011 and did not answer but it was from "someone at Prime Theraputics" concerning my new order.

A- I haven't placed a new order with them since March  -which has been completed and has nothing left to send.

B- The order number was a 4 digit number.  PT's order numbers are ALWAYS 8 digits.

very very fishy-  I would not give them any info.

This is a direct line to the pharmacy where your Rx is filled and mailed from. I just got a phone call from a pharmacy tech who knew all the meds on the prescriptions I mailed in last week and the name of the doctor who wrote them. He called to let me know that the name of one med had been discontinued and to verify the replacement med, and he needed to verify my D.O.B. and address since it was the first order I had placed with this company.

I called Prime Therapeutics main number and she said it is the direct number from that particular location, but they don't have a record of all the phone numbers of the pharm techs and pharmacists.

YOU need to verify your suspicions before making wild accusations. It might also help if you had called them back at the 888 # to verify them for yourself.

You make yourself look like an idiot.

Please call that number back right away! This is the mail order pharmacy you use for your prescriptions. They are trying to call you to verify your coverage (your name and D.O.B. and address if this is your first time mailing in your prescriptions) or to let you there is a problem with one of your prescriptions. I just got a call from them today to let me know they faxed a clarification to my doctor about a med and he responded with the same name of the med they were questioning, and that they had to contact him again. The pharmacy wanted to let me know I would not be getting that med until the doc clarifies it correctly. Their web site is myprimemail.com or myrxhealth.com.

I would DEFINITELY watch out for them - I and Prime Therapeutics highly suspect it's an identity theft scheme. A woman called from the 888 282 4801 # to me, asked to speak w/ me using my first & last name, then asked me for my DOB. I laughed "YOU called me!" Wouldn't tell me anything until I "identified myself" further - not even a reference # which Prime Therapeutics ALWAYS gives - when I asked to speak w/ a supervisor, no surprise, no one's available. Asked the caller's name - gave me a first name & refused to give me a last name. I then called Prime Therapeutics REAL phone #, they had NO record of anyone calling me (against their business protocols - all calls must be logged), and there are ZERO issues on my account so no reason to even call me! Prime Therapeutics is now investigating these people. WATCH OUT - with pharmacies and medical insurance companies, we think nothing of giving them our full information (including SSN) - making an easy cover for identity theft criminals.
