Got all call from "Total Construction" from 972-529-8120.  Told him we are on do not call list yet they would not stop.
I asked for his company's name and address and then he hung up.  I wonder if it is the same company as below?

Nathan called from 972-745-6452.  caller id showed Avaya.  Said with Total Construction  he sounded like idiot  kept asking same questions, how I was going to pay, name of insurance co., etc.   Kept insisting that I make appt. for today because they were in area.  Made appt. for next day for 2pm.  Still waiting at 3pm.  Called the 888-283-1426 number at 2:15, left msg. still waiting for that callback called the number Nathan had called from,  said non-working number.  Called  Guardian Exteriors in Duncanville,  they said they have nothing to do with Total Construction and that they have had other calls about Total.  Don't know was the purpose of all this is but if anyone ever shows up I will give them hell and get Lic. plate no.

A call center has been cold calling our area trying to set up appointments for roofing "we're going to be working in your neighborhood on Monday and can do a free estimate, what time will you be home?" (And we are on the do-not-call list.). They've been using spoofed local phone numbers and don't leave a message. When I've called back the local numbers I've been answered by upset local homeowners that are getting lots of irate calls about the hang ups etc.   One of them said they had contacted the phone company and the FBI for help and if I could get information, pass it on.  When I asked for a company name and number to call back, the call center guy said 1-888-283-1426, "Total Construction", "Gary".

I think I got a call from them last year and they were pretending that they were doing a roof in our neighborhood and that they had seen damage on ours.  When I told the guy he was just cold calling and we have a new roof, he said "oh, man!" and hung up.

No more answers to local numbers I don't recognize immediately.

This is a company called Weather Damage Services posing as other companies to book appointments. Not upfront! Don't use!  

Some guy named Joe from Total Construction Services called my wife (by name, which tells me they probably went through the mailbox) about a free roof inspection, at which point she put me on the phone. His "20minute free inspection" was available tomorrow afternoon, "since they were already working on another house on my street". I accepted a 6pm reservation just to get him out of my ear.

The 888-283-1426 number Joe gave me is an anonymous voice-mail. I did not bother leaving my name/address on this recording device.

Two guys showed up in a truck marked "Now-Roof", and one (Jeremy) gave me a business card from K.Simon Construction in Carrollton.

K. Simon appears to be a nationwide company, except how did they get my contact information?

Got a call from Total Construction services. When the appointment was made the paperwork said Guardian Exteriors. I got a bad feeling about this & asked the guy. He said he had only been working for the company for a month. He said maybe it was formerly Total Construction. The caller idea was different from the 1-888-283-1426 phone no. He gave me. Everytime they called it was a different caller I'd that was local.
We never got a free written estimate & he was trying to turn it in but couldn't because our insurance company wouldn't give him a claim no. Without us calling it in. Thank goodness.

I received a call from 888-283-1426 claiming to be a representative of ADT Security Systems. He told me that they were in the area installing security systems. He then said "I see here that you don't have a security system, is that correct?"  I promptly told him that I have a security system that involves signs on my door in English and Spanish that make it clear that to enter illegally will result in loss of life...that I am married to a police officer...and that I have three trained protection dogs that each way over 110 pounds. He seemed to get the picture and stuttered thru a quick goodbye.

Its all one company chaning there names. If there not able to provide you a real address and a real number,  there not LEGIT. Hang up on the scamers! Weather Damage Service, MN Constrution., Beach Side in Hawaii, Total Constructions, Madaris Windows, Legacy home in MN,  Beach adjusters and more. Hang up on them you will never find them.

I've been getting calls from this number 3 times a day for WEEKS.  Ignoring the call, hanging up, or screaming at them makes no difference, they just keep calling, waking me up 6 days a week.  They are the relentless "your roof is damaged" scheme.  Why they think someone who has responded as I have dozens of times is still a potential customer, I don't know now.  Reading other complaints here, it seems that filing official legal complaints has no effect (regarding being on the do not call list).  I just want the calls to stop!

Got a call from "Cletus Jackson", claiming to be from a local (Athens, AL) company called "Madaris Windows".  Said they were going to be in our neighborhood and offered to do a free window inspection.  Different combinations of Google searches couldn't find anything on a Madaris Windows, in our area.  Just called the 888-283-1426 number and got the same "sorry we missed you" answering machine message, with no company name. ..... Think I'll pass.

these idiots keep calling me also.  1-888-283-1426.  I've asked them to stop calling a dozen times.  guy/girl will just hang up when I do.  

I got a call from 808-375-6987 showing on my caller ID. The caller says that they are going to be in my area inspecting roofs tomorrow and would I like a free estimate. He said that his name was Scott Rodrigues of Total Construction Services. I got a # to call back on and it is 888-283-1426. I tried to look both #'s up in my Mr. number app, but it shows no results. Thank you for the heads-up on this scam, as I will not bother to try calling this #.

I got a similar call yesterday stating that they are a roofing company and doing work in the area.  He offered a free estimate which would only take 20 minutes.  My first red flag was that he said they were doing work because of the recent storms, but there really haven't been any recent big storms in our area (minneapolis).  Unfortunately I agreed and when they did not show up I looked up the company and the number he gave which brought me to this site.  Thankyou for taking the time to post these calls.  He is calling the company MN construction.

the number, name of company and name of caller.  The number he gave 1 888 283 - 1426.  They are now calling
themselves Weather Damage Services.  He said they are located in our town but I never heard of them. Got the callers name.
I told him we would call him if interested.  We will see if this ends it or not. I'm glad to have found this site.

Unfortunately they are using my phone number for spoofing. I had a Richfield resident get a hold of me and they had an appointment with the scam artists tonight. I called Richfield Police and they wouldn't do anything about it because he had no victim in Richfield. I said...not yet. So much for protect and serve. Have another donut....officer.

They've been calling everyday from different local numbers here in Hawaii....I told them I had a new home with a new roof that has no damage and that I told this to another person from their company and he said "it must have been some other company..." whatever. I just want them to stop calling. I can't block the number because each time it's different!!!

I have received no less than 10 calls from this company in the last 30 days. I said my number is on a Do Not Call registry and to remove me from their list. That was 4 calls ago. Today alone I received 3 calls,finally getting their company name & number. Is no one following up on harassment complaints?!

The first time he was very aggressive and wouldn't shut up, even after I told him we know our roof is fine and we only had pea size hail.  Here's the funny part...He said "Did you know that big hail is coming?",  " There is hurricane Maurice coming and it's going to do a lot of damage."  I started laughing and he had nothing else to say.

He called back the next day and said one of their workers went by and we had a lot of roof damage.  Our roof is only a few years old and has architectural shingles and there is no way they could tell from the road.  I said no way is there damage and hung up.

I just received a third call.  I politely asked for business name and other info.  He said Home Solutions, phone 1-888-283-1426. He also said they were based out of Elk River and Big Lake. I also got his name.

"Total Construction Services", says he is local in Kaneohe, HI (but can't pronounce it). Says he had workers in area that noticed storm damage to my property and wants to have someone come by and inspect (not true, house in good repair, new roof). Not registered in state, call through a proxy number.  Has website (www.totalconstructionrepairs.com) which is a proxy in Canada registered April 2013. Believed to work with out-of-state storm chasers claiming hail damage from storm 17 months ago?

The phone number is a spoof VOIP internet software created call. (The caller id number is fake). They will match your local prefix dialing number with a fake phone number in your area. This is a scam. I allowed the scammer to talk. Here is the information he read from his paper...

The website is a joke. It shows a map of the United States with little black dots where they claim to have contractors who will drive out to give an estimate to repair your roof. It's so fake that it's funny.

I went to the website and looked up it's WHOIS registration. It's a fake web site, They just created it 11-Apr-2013. It's PRIVATELY LISTED, based in Canada. You can email, call or write the Privacy company to release the information based on your need to know because they requested to do business with you and may be involved in fraud.

Total Construction Services.  Caller ID was 952-881-8354.  Told me they are a local company. When I asked for their phone number, he gave me 888-283-8354.  I asked why they didn't have a local number if they're a local company - said they're a big company.  Wanted to set up an appointment for tomorrow for free inspection of the hail damage to my roof.  When I told him I'm on the Do Not Call list, he said, "OK, we'll be ready for your lawsuit"

Ignore the call

The storms that have hit the middle of the US have damaged a lot of roofs.  That has attracted scam roofers.  They tell you that you need a new roof and give you a very low-cost estimate for the work, then take your deposit and vanish.  Or they'll start the work and leave before its finished.  Or they'll finish the work but do a terrible job any you need to replace that roof again in a year.

If you need a new roof contact an established local roofing firm.  Do not deal with someone from a distant city or someone who promises to do the job cheap.

I got a call from 970-352-6982 regarding getting a free roof inspection.  I asked at what number I could call them back and was told 999-283-1426 where I get a machine.  The man told me he was a local company called Total Construction Services and would inspect my roof for free.

Got the same call but I always let it go to the machine. Glad to find out its nothing important.
