Yeah this call is from verizon.. I just activated a used phone without a new contract. Its just a follow up to make sure you were the one that activated the phone. They send you an email too.

If the owner does not publish the number, then it's not available in any directory. However, if they make calls from the number, then it's very likely it will be reported here.

I got a new phone and new phone number several days ago. Someone from 888-288-9102 calls me almost everyday. When I answer they hang up on me.
