They call and hang up. I called it back and found out it is Verizon Wireless trying to sell new services. I'm guessing that maybe the callers get credit for dialing and getting a pick-up but are too lazy to give the sales pitch? Just a theory about all the hang-ups.

This is a Verizon promotional call.  What kills me is that they never leave a message, and the numbers are always different.  So far I've received seven different calls from seven different phone numbers.  I think that they change the number so you won't recognize who's calling.  Very annoying!

Saturday afternoon around 3:15, called, hung up before machine picked up.  No Caller ID name, just "800 Service".  I'm on the donotcall list too.  This bugs me so much!!!   :-(     Someone else said they called the number back and it was Verizon Wireless.  Those folks need a wake up call themselves!

Calls and hangs up!  Called them back and found out it was Verizon Wireless.  Probably doing a call to try and upsell you on their services.

No message left.  They keep calling.  Who are these people?

I got a call too. Have no idea who it is. I HATE these calls!!!!!!!

The call came through on my cell phone.  My number is registered on the "Do Not Call" list.  No message was left
